Sault tribe intends to build casino in Romulus

The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians will try to build a casino in Romulus, Chairman Darwin McCoy said this week in the tribe's newspaper.

It's hard keeping them on the reservation and football helmets. The government has to make these exceptions for casinos and tobacco so the Indians will be able to purchase fire water.

I'm sure they would if you established a system where they could have an unfair advantage. Let's parse this casino thing. All the Indians bring to the table is their heritage and name. Somebody else supplies the investment capital, the building, and the operating cash. Then the tribe takes their share of the profits. What a country!!
