I say if you get caught drunk driving more than once, then you should get the death penalty. That's just my opinion.

Oh no! And I just spent over 300 dollars on a bidet. What a waste. Maybe I'll exchange it for a better one. Of course, you'll have to come over and give it the "sniff" test. LOL

Honestly, I haven't been on this blog for so long, and I noticed it was kind of dead, so I thought I'd offer my two cents. 2 strikes is admittedly harsh. 3 strikes would probably be better.

Can we do one strike and you at least lose your license for life.

Problem I see is that child rapists and drunk drivers are serving minimal jail time in order to make room for drug offenders. If you commit a violent crime, fine, but people non-violent drug offenders shouldn't be put in jail over pedophiles and drunk drivers.

We don't even execute murderers, why kill some drunk?

Furthermore, I say keep the crackheads locked up too! Who do you think your car and house burglars are? They don't do it to pay the rent or feed their kids. They commit crimes to smoke their brains out and get high! Keep a crackhead locked up to prevent other crimes. Get it?

People don't commit crimes for cocaine?, only Crack right?

So why, the difference in Jail time for crack when compared to Cocaine.

Let a pedophile and or a Drunk Driver/Man slaughter-er go to make room for someone caught with to much weed?

That's a problem.

Get it?

Your logic defies reason Really. Although, I can't agree with you, there is such a thing called as "Reformed" and "Rehabilitated". Users of Cocaine do it regularly just as alcoholics. You can cite the success rates of Al-Anon and Drug-Anon for those figures, but in your case, I could make a case for retroactive abortions also.

So you're saying someone that has 2 glasses of wine at dinner, whom could based on mouth tissue alcohol absorption content, receive the death penalty. Is this what we're talking about? That's what you're saying ! Now the guy with 4 DUI CONVICTIONS that has mowed down a group of kids, or killed a family of 4 on their way to Church would have a different set of circumstances tied to it anyhow.

When you get a grasp, you'll see the big picture isn't so bad. Al-Anon and Drug-Anon programs work for the truly rehabillative person. The repeat and chronic offenders will always be. The law does have REASONABLE guidelines for that also.

I'm just happy you aren't in office...
