Please be more careful on Election Day!!! We won't be able to do a "do-over".

Well I don't think that it's going to be a run away election. David, Derrick and Robert have alot of work to do. Little G, Francine and Lynda have been out doing their campaigning.

This is a very critical election for Sauk Village the future of the community is in the balance.

What a joke, every time you come here you can vote again. So this poll says what? So lets have it, has anyone only voted one time? hahaha The last polls before the election tells us that. People just do your homework and vote who you think will do the best good for SV. If you think you are going to get all the info from people on here you are sadly mistaken.
Im sure we all know that isn't the Little G that is running. See what I mean, any one can play off they are someone they aren't. Say any crazy thing they want. I encourage people to look else where if you want to make a responsible choice when voting.

I am with you Lee. The people don't have to look very far to help them make a responsible choice. Just look at the condition of the town, the streets, who the Mayor is supporting for Trustees, his prior hand-picked choices for critical positions in his administration, the number of outstanding lawsuits, the Community Center and lack of programs and finally, his priorities as evidenced by the Weekly Agenda he posts for his Village meetings. People don't have to refer to these forums...just use common sense. But then again, they did vote for this Mayor.

So where are all the people voting over and over for the New Progress Party then Lee? Since anyone can vote over and over for either party, I guess they already made their choice. If the New Progress Party is any way related to the Towers camp, no thank you !!! No matter how many times you vote.

How many of you were at the Forum Sunday? The candidates’ were to be there by 12:30, the only reason the NPP was there was the mayor had to call them to get there. They didn’t have the common curtsies to RSVP to the invitation that was sent to them on March 3rd 2011. Then after having to start late because of the NPP, they had to leave for a previous engagement after only six questions. Maybe if they had notified the sponsors of the forum that they couldn’t make it other arrangements could have been made. Mr. Chavez even took time off of work to be there. This was a chance to get the records straight but the NPP was in to much of a hurry to get out of there to even talk to the voters. I for one will be voting for the Peoples Voice Party and not a group of people who don’t care enough to listen to the voters and would care less about us only what they can do for themselves and the Mayor.

I was there. I was told it was from 1-3. They started about on time. Didnt have to wait long at all. Your so full of it. After they got through the back rounds of everyone. They asked questions, Seemed like they ALL just repeated the same answers. I was ready for it to be over. Teddy, you sound like you are playing some dirty politics. Do you really have to go that far to Help Burgess and Hanks? Whats an election without a little DIRT?

Well I was there so I know it started at 1:15 and ended at 2:20 not from 1 to 3 as stated, and then the reason it ended is so the NPP could go to there head quarter to eat. In addition as stated they were to be there at 12:30 not 1:00 like they showed up. As a manager of a office, I would count that as late and failure to follow instructions are you sure you want that kind of leaders?

Then they we're reported in Deer Creek campaigning which was more important to them than answering questions. They are trying to identify the type of people who will vote blindly and not show up to meetings.

Teddy have you ever been to a forum here in the village that has started on time? I've been to many I don't find 15 mins a big deal.. And if they stayed till 3 do you really think you would have learned anything new? They were all just repeating the same answers just stating it differently. They are all going to say what we want hear. Thats politics. They know what we want. I don't think if we stayed till 5 we would have learned anything new. Why waste our time or theirs? I think the majority of people that are going to vote have made their decision by now. I cant wait for the election, then we will know on which side the majority of voters are on. Either way it goes there will still be hell at the meetings. People on both sides feel very strongly on their position.

I just found a flyer in my door from New Progress vehemently supporting playing the race card. Frankly I don't appreciate politicians polarizing people. I have lived here 36 years and have no problems with my neighbors of either race. Why do you feel the need to bring that up? We need to get our financials back on track and get the village repaired streets etc. When we get a final cost for lake water and a means to acquire the money without bankrupting the citizens of the village then it would be a go. We need people running the village who are qualified to do the jobs. It should have nothing to do with buddies or padding your backing. This isn't Chicago and the town is broke, there's very little to steal, certainly not worth antogonizing the people.

I just got a flyer also from The New Progress Party today and also talked to some supporters. But what really moved me was the facebook page by Joseph Watsowasky I see now where all the racist comments come from The People's Voice Party. I made copies of all the substandard comments and emailed them to all my church members and neighbors that live around me. I put this on my facebook page to let people read this racist garbage. So now when they see this page they will know how to cast their vote The New Progress Party! That's all it took for me !
