Am I the only one who sees this as a witch-hunt due to the fact that the ex-hubby and his new missus' had an ax to grind?
Yes, this case has eroded my, the publics faith and confidence in the integrety of the judiciary.
I guess the judiciary feel threatened by Le$b!@ns. Or they're siding with Fred and Cathy.
And how common is it to allow a high-school senior to live in their own apartment? She must be a very responsible young lady. She must have been parented well.

If she's so corrupt, then why haven't other charges been brought against her? It's suspect that this entire thing was brought about by her ex-husband. To me, the fact that the Judge was able to make small talk and exchange pleasantries with her ex-husband's new wife reflects well on her character. Having someone back-stab you and use your small talk against you at a later date also shows character.
I don't find it odd that a female judge would refuse to disclose who her stalker is. Judges are targets for the criminal element. Judges have to be much more aware of their personal safety, more so than the general public.
Thankfully, what goes around, comes around.

So will she be on the bench in 90 days? Where is she living? If she was not legally a judge for a period of time, are rulings made in that period valid?
Will her time as a "judge" when not legally a judge count towards "time in service" towards her pension?

She should have been removed from the bench = period.

But lots more questions.

She is a judge, and she is not "credible"? Is a 90 day suspension long enough for her actions? Above the law huh?

I agree! This is every bit as suspect as Robin Magee's tax fraud convictions.

Hmmm... a judge and a cop. They could have had some sort of nice racket set up to pay for said house too. 100% conviction rate involving cases with forfeitures?
Anyone go through their financials?

How about censuring all the Judge good ole' boys club who come down with worthless, pre-determined decisions, and influenced decisions by their golfing buddies the lawyers? Get rid of all of them and make these sons of bitches each run campaigns for their elections rather than making it such a blind election so that the incumbent is re-elected because no one knows a thing about these judges? Hmmmmm?????

Hey Dufus! Educate yourself. And remember rule number one: Law abiding people adamantly oppose Pam Alexander.

Judges think they are above the law. This attitude does make them impartial. 10 years max on the bench and then go back into private practice. Make sure the outfit they join has not benefited from their decisions.

As I read one day on a T - shirt, "A good lawyer knows the law but a great lawyer knows the judge." In fact in some places there are a few very powerful and extremely politically connected lawyers who are the real bosses of the local court systems, and with the local judges being nothing more than rubber stamps and puppets on a string for those particular lawyers.

For instance, Melvin Belli had extreme success and then some with San Francisco judges (Belli's office was in SF and he was basically a SF institution), but he did not have nearly as much success outside SF, since the judges outside SF were not nearly in awe of and not nearly as inclined to just roll over for him the way SF judges were.

In fact, in the 1990's an acquaintance told me about the time some years earlier that he and a group of people he had been involved in a demonstration with had hired Belli to defend them against charges of unlawful assembly.(The trial took place in a town about twenty miles north of SF.)

According to to the person recounting the story, Belli went into court totally unprepared and without having spent any significant amount of time studying the issues or preparing his speech for the court, but instead with the attitude that since he was the extremely prominent, famous, and Bigshot Mr. Melvin Belli, that therefore everybody should take extremely seriously and accept as fact anything he said simply because he, Melvin Belli, said it.

While such an approach by Belli certainly would have worked with most SF judges, however outside SF, and where Belli did not have his home court advantage, the NON SF judge refused to get down and kiss Belli's shoes and accept whatever Belli said simply because he was Mr. Bigshot Melvin Belli.
She should be disbarred

Kerr Karasov is a self-important woman who plays God with lives and children. If she wasn't so full of herself, maybe she would realize that her 5 minutes with someone doesn't make her an expert compared to the people who get paid to do 6 month evaluations regarding custody. I think she got off WAY too easily and am happy to hear that other children will not suffer by her bad decisions for much longer. As for those claiming her ex has an ax to grind, get over yourselves. If it isn't, it should be mandatory to report illegal activity like this if you are a judge regardless of who that guilty person may be. Any illegal activity should automatically disallow you from being able to practice law as a judge. If you can't be trusted to do the right thing out of court, how can you be trusted to do the right thing in it??

What's up with Patty?
Help me understand Patty...you publicly denounce the board's investigation charging that you lived outside your district.'Check'. You publicly admit you lived outside your district.'Check'. Yet Patty you continue to state the charge you admit to is based on 'rumors'?

I am really trying to resist from calling you an idiot, but do you realize that the only thing she has been found guilty of is exactly what she admitted to? Had nothing to do with the people you refer to as 'Fred and Cathy' and the 'witch-hunt reference is equally strange considering the findings of the panel were based upon only what Judge Karasov herself admitted to . Maybe you should read the documents & charges, it is all public information and it may help you sound less ignorant.
