Patrick Flahaven was secretary of the MN Senate. It is a non elected civil service position. He is the chief administrator for the Senate and all pieces of printed, proposed, pending, and legislative minutes and statute journals pass through his office. Senate legislative calenders and Senate committee hearings information all coordinate through the secretary's office, also. If info goes to the Senate chambers that too passes his scrutiny. Whoever replaces him has great shoes to fill. Patrick is a great person to work with and he and his always finds time to help and assist the ordinary MN citizen find their way around the state capitol building. I hope that fills you in on who Patrick Flahaven is. He will be missed when he retires.
