the stimulus money will most likely find its way into some politicians pocket instead of fixing roads .
I hope that they spend some of it on some of the state roads in rural parts of the state not just in the cities.
I do agree there is some tire busters all over and they do need fixed.

You'd have to be stupid not to notice that there's no lack of road construction projects around here, stimulus or no stimulus. Ask anyone who's trying to get to work in the morning.

I don't live in, or around the cities so no I don't see any road work being done on my way to work, so I don't have to be stupid not to notice.

I wonder how much too much we will pay for these under the guise of 'creating' 1000 jobs. In the fall (if even that long), most of those jobs will be gone, and the people back on the State bankroll.
You wonder because you are clueless.

<sigh> Feel free to show me how the jobs won't be gone after construction season (and all those people right back on unemployment). If you can't, stop wasting bandwidth on your pointless blather...

I think the point was that unemployment went down due to the porkulous money in only one state. Low unemployment doesn't mean anything by itself...it is the rate of change that shows economic growth or regression.
