Hanlons age was apparent and even had the wrong date for the primary in his opening statement. Hes a nice person but I think its time for him to sit back and let the younger guys go for it.
He was the first one to speak with an oppressed sound system. Had nothing to do with age. Look at the state house they are older than him. He was the only one that answered with facts.

McGonagle definitely had the worst appearance at the debate. He looked like a turkey about to get his head cut off. He kept looking left and right with his head. He was speaking so slow as if he was on valium or something. He was so nervous. How can we put someone like that in the state house. He does terrible in front of a crowd. I'll never vote that guy.

You want this guy voting on tax issues for you at the State House? Really? The same guy who had tax liens placed against his foreclosed property from the City he is suppose to represent!Wake up Everett!!! Vote for anyone but this deadbeat!

I belong to the same union as Mr Mangan. He received their endorsement due to the fact that he told them, he supported the governors tax increases in transportation. This will mean fares will be going up and routes will be cut.
I attended the debate. Mr Mangan said at the debate he is against the governors tax increases in transportation.
He can't have it both ways and the union has been notified.

This so-called debate was a farce. The people who sponsored and ran it should be ashamed of themselves.

Matewsky is the original flip flopper.First he has a restraining order against Smith, then he takes a job as Smiths chief of staff. He has no core believes. He only says what will make WAYNE look good. His famous statement that he will always return a phone call is false. Why should we take a chance that he may have been involved in his boss Smithvoter fraud? He is qualified as a bartender.

I wasn't sure who I would vote for.. I thought Hanlon might be too old but his flyer is the only one to talk about fiscal responsibility nd specifics. The others were fluff with no specifics and standing for nothing but more big government. The acoustics for the debate were horrible and I couldn't hear any of them because I'm hard of hearing and there was no closed captioning.

I agree with you Actually. Hanlon showed himself to be the only one who addressed the issues. Honestly... the more I hear people talk about it I believe he may have been robbed in previous elections with those damned absentees.

I also got a call from his wife campaigning for him over the weekend and a call from the former Rep, Ed Connolly, endorsing him (Hanlon). He's really working hard for each vote.

He must be working very hard if he got Ed Connolly to call.

I know this household is voting for Hanlon - we believe he can certainly represent Everett with no hint of being involved in Smith's fraudulently scheme, and we believe he will always vote in Everett's best interests.

We also got a call this weekend from his wife - I told her that this household felt he was robbed by Smith's actions and that in all probability if not for the fraudulent practice of absentee ballots, he would have been our state rep then....

Why the others involved in Smith's scheme have not been named is not fair to the city of Everett voters....

According to the Catholic Citizens Organization their were 12 questions asked of each of the primary candidates about different issues ranging from reducing the mass. sales tax to raising the state tuition rate for state colleges for children of non-citizens. Two of the candidates Sergio Cornelio and Michael Mangan had no responses to all of the 12 questions. Are these the people you want representing your interests in office? People with no opinions about anything. Think about this at election time.

The Catholic Citizens Organization is a church/religious organization that has many committees across the country. I don't know exactly what states and cities they are located in but I believe their is an office in Woburn, Mass.
