My only question is who got the kick backs if i remember correctly the morons on the council and the idiots we call alderman voted for 3 f550 and 5 f350 we have no f550 nor did we receive any f350 also when the city received the vehicles they were stripped down and they had to be sent out to have beds dumpbodies and plows put on again who got the kick backs

Since Ford doesn't manufacture plows or dump bodies it isn't necessarily a big deal that they arrived that way. Maybe the got a better deal for those elsewhere?

And if you think about it, the 250's & 450's make more sense. The 550 is much too big. The 450 should be more then enough.

when you get a package deal from THE DEALERSHIP it is cheaper to get the truck complete in stead of going to an outside vendor. The point of 250's and 450's THEY WERE NOT VOTED ON BY THE TO LAME BODY"S, better or better kick back

I think the point is these should have gone out to bid and it didn't.

The website says those trucks were purchased from a place called Municipal Headquarters. I don't think you or I could purchase a truck from them. That may be the difference.

But, even if it's not, where's the proof? Just because someone says it, doesn't make it true.

Security or Paranoia?

With more investigations looking into the Mayor's
activities he is making sure who has access to City Hall.

Mayor DeMaria is installing a security card system
on all outside doors at City Hall, now you may think well that's fine it's been needed.

On top of that system he is installing a security card scanner on the third floor accesses at City Hall so he knows who is on his floor of the building.

He is PARANOID because his illegal activity is
going to come back and haunt him soon.

I heard that additional security was being put in place because the former IT director has been trying to illegally access computers in an effort to cover up the problems he caused while employed by the city.

But what statement did I confirm? I'm not the former IT director if that's what your trying to imply. While I find the website that he's alledged to be behind amusing and somewhat informative at times, I don't think that he does a very good of backing up all of his claims, at least in a slam dunk manner.

Unfortunately, I'll believe when I see it. Rumors like this went around for years about the Ragucci administration and where did that ever go? I'm not saying that it's not going to happen or that it isn't deserved just that the state seems relatively toothless.

I know there can be heat with this comment but the truth is George Keverian slowed it down. He was the ethics commission, but he was not fair, and had many there that were loyal to him. SLOWLY it is changing.

Good for you Watcher. Someone had to say it. MANY MANY MANY things were buried because of that EXACT reason. Absolutely NOT the saint he was portrayed.

Before people start to complain I have been reading about the bidding. For the information of tehe readers. The State goes out to bid for vehicles and other items such as Landscaping etc. The are State wide Bids open to all state agencies City or Towns etc. MHQ is the winning bidder for vehicles. There are also a number of Bidders for Lanscaping etc. GTA is one. All this information can be found under the StaTe COMPASS system open to all.
