I'd like to know the actual story.
Oil is not highly flammable and is NOT volatile. Oil does not emit flammable vapors.
Now, this was waste oil. It could have had a high concentration of diluted gasoline in it which was what vapors ignited.
SAD sad happenings either way. I hope the guys are OK.
