But no respectable person would lose their nursing license for stealing pain meds, from patients either. Just one of the few things this person is guilty of.http://health.state.tn.us/B oards/PDFs/february_2009.pdf

Here is a horrible example (if true) of what could drive a person to do such a thing. As a parent, this gives me the creeps. "Child Molester living in Clifton!" http://www.topix.com/forum/county/wayne-tn/TF...

Assuredly there are very bad creeps in the world and they molest their wives and children. I assure you that was not Neely Evans, but Monk and her parents have hired a BIG-SHOT lawyer for $150,000 to get up a big bad story about him and get Misty off the charges. I'm sorry but when you are 25 years old and you shoot your father in the back and then turn him over and shoot him in the head and you could have left??? No, I don't buy the molestation thing here.

What is first degree murder? The State is required to prove that he/she committed an unlawful killing, both intentionally and with premeditation.… Premeditation requires that the act be committed after the exercise of reflection and judgment, but the purpose to kill is not required to have pre-existed in the mind of the defendant for any definite period of time.… Whether a defendant has acted with premeditation is a question for the jury to determine, and it may be inferred from the manner and circumstances of the killing.… The use of a deadly weapon upon an unarmed victim, the declarations of a defendant of his intent to kill, the infliction of multiple wounds, the defendant’s prior relationship with the victim, and the fact that the killing was particularly cruel are all factors which the jury may consider in determining whether the murder was premeditated.”…

How could you not be charged with at least "accessory after the fact" if you were present at a murder and helped cover it up?

I just read in the Jackson Sun that she was released on bond today. - Someone is spending big money. I have been following this story and I don't understand why the wife has not been charged also.

Yes...someone is. The victim, everything he worked his entire life to pay for has been put up as collateral for her bond. As for the wifey, not charged, well she and Roy Wyatt worked for the City of Parsons for many years together, not the first time he's covered her arse.

That is a VERY interesting fact! She has been known to call him "Brother Roy"! Wonder if that really does matter??? The Grandparents are quite wealthy and put up the Land Bond to get her out... The farm is going to pay the big-time lawyer Raybin from Nashville. He is an expert on getting off "battered wives"! He even wrote an article for lawyers on Findlaw about the strategy to do it. You can Google his name and find it easy enough. They are paying him $150,000 so I heard...

How does everyone know what really happened? Especially Memphis, Florida, and Cookeville which is miles from Parsons TN??? If you had to live the life they did, how would you react to being threatened daily for example hot coffee throwed in your face, bruises seen by more than one person in the public, and guns being pulled out on you just because you were riding horses down the rode by his house that he said he controlled??? I lived a life with my first husband where he was goimg to shoot me or I was going to shoot him, luckily in my case my brothers came and took him away and I divorced him and got away from even though he remained threatning me he wouldn't give me a divorce he would kill me first!!! So take a minute and get the facts before you judge and slander someone's reputation!!!

I would also like to say NO one on here is God or the Lord Jesus CHrist and the bible states "Thou Shalt not Judge" so maybe you should pick up a King James Bible to read instead of the Jackson Sun or any other paper!!!

There is no dout she will pull this murder off and not have to spend one day in the pin. The judges, lawers in Decatur Co. are as low as a snake. You've heard the old saying money talks and bull shit walks....guess what come to Decatur Co. and you walk. The Bible says an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Based on that, In my opinion it is automatically the death penality.

There was no reason for Misty to kill her Dad other than she was not getting what she wanted from him. Some people say he mistreated his daughter but that's hog wash. Misty is a grown woman and could have left at anytime she chose. The only problem was she didn't want to leave she wanted her Dad to leave (this world) so when the time was right she caught him with his back turned and shot him in the back. What a coward....then put the gun to his head and shot him right between the eyes. There is a special place in hell for murders.

Sounds like the whole thing was planned!! Headlines should read "Mother & Daughter conspire & murder Husband/Father". Poor guy didn't know what hit him. She's probably trying to get off on some insanity plea... and I guess money can the best lawyers so she probably has a good chance. God gives us the ultimate punishment for our sins here on earth so Justice will "eventually" be served.
