It's a shame he didn't linger a while after being shot so he could feel an inkling of what his victims felt.

What's the happy ending? The old farmer is dead and his daughter is afraid to go home. There is no happy ending in this story.

I hope they catch the other one but make him have a little time in agony before he dies. Great work to all officers involved!!! My heart goes out to the slain elderly gentalmens family.

The blood lust for revenge and the celebration of a shooting and violent death is exactly the same energy that cause men to murder in the first place. The primitive undeveloped animal nature of human beings is the problem. Until humans are no longer motivated by crude passions, we will all continue to suffer by living in the same world with people who are barely a step above animals. This includes those who want to celebrate the killing of the man above. There is no difference between those who revel in the death of criminals and the legalized murder by the state of convicted felons and the killers themselves. As Hamlet said, were we given God-like reason to fust in us unused? The answer often sadly is yes. Anyone who enjoys the death of another human being for whatever reason is no different than the killer.
