this happens allot on local border check points. harassment of female and young men with a women such as a young couple. i recommend people buy and install a dash cam, and secure it. so you can record the mental wacks there hiring anymore. i noticed on 54 south of alamo the bp check point has a few rogue agents who love to harass women.

"They never apologize," Nelson said. "They basically tell you that they're doing their job for the better good of the world."

Doing their job BADLY!

This isn't good, we should hire good people and make sure we have our facts straight.

However, by refusing the assistance offered, she's bringing part of the problem on herself. Yes we should fix the problem, but when you have the opportunity to call ahead and ensure this doesn't happen, then it becomes a case of her just wanting attention.

By not using all the resources at her disposal, especially the head of the boarder crossing, she's basically adding to the problem.

Therefore, she can't complain, she's part of the problem, too.

I have had the same problem for the past two years and, with two children in school in Canada (I live in Buffalo) I cross quite often. It's incredible as the individual for whom they are searching for in my case is also a man (and I'm a woman). I am also a Canadian and a US citizen. Every time I cross, we are subject to search and siezure and are pulled over. Really, I'm ready to do my part for national security, but this is ridiculous. The crossing guards know that it's wrong, but they're also contientious of the fact that they have a job to do. On a few occasions they have been rude, but for the most part they are sympathetic and polite. We are getting to know each other rather well, in fact, but it doesn't make any difference to the process.
