so many proffessed christians ,so many claiming to be teaching the word of god,yet some reveal something much different other than what plain scripture teaches.Fables and myths are subjected to the people ,and the innocent sheep are led astray, sad but true.

We all live in days of great deception. May God give His church the gift of discernment as we take Pauls warning seriously: "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ" (Col. 2:8)

if you know of a ministry that teaches something other than what the bible says, then your best bet is to have nothing to do with them whatsoever. basicly stated ,listen to what they say ,and check the bible to see whether or not what they are telling you is true( based on the bible).some people will take one scripture and build their whole doctrine on it without weighing the evidence of what the whole bible says. pastor doug bachelor says "never build your doctrine off one or two scripture, base your doctrine on a multititude of scriptures, cause if you do it is easy to knock it over"

Warnings of Change in the Church
Is it possible that Christianity may have been radically transformed in previous centuries? Surprising as it may seem, both Jesus Christ and the apostles warned of changes that would come in the Church. Were these empty warnings, or did Christ foretell a subtle yet deadly threat to the religion that bears His name?

Notice the ominous tone of His warnings to His followers: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves" (Matthew 7:15). He explained: "Not everyone who says to Me,'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day,'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them,'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' " (verses 21-23).

Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
would god take someone who has lived a short time in this life and torture them forever in a fire for a mere brief lifetime of sins? would you sit there and kick your dog forever just because he didn,t listen? what makes you think that god would take someone and burn them forever then. the bible however paints a much different picture of god. the bible says that god is love, the bible does not say that god is a feign who tortures forever, the bible says that god is a consuming fire. go will one day perform what is called his strange act of ofrever ridding this planet from sin forever.

Solomon warned, "Add thou not to his word, lest he reprove thee and thou be found a liar," Prov. 30:6 - Sharp, and sad but true!

While Isaiah admonished,

"To the law and to the testimony: If they speak not according to (in harmony with) this word, it is because there is no light in them", Isa. 8:20

you know it,s a good thing for this forum ,people need to take heed of those who come in gods name claiming to be righteous and knowing their bibles. does their teachings match those of the bible ,or are they just bent on tradition, and what they have been taught brainwashed to believe.

The apostle Paul said of his people, "For I bear them witness that they have
a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge" (Romans 10:2). The same is
true today about many who are sincere about their beliefs, but may be
sincerely wrong.

By the middle of the second century A.D., heresies based on pagan religious practices, as Paul had warned would happen in his letter to the Galations, began to overtake the true Gospel.

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel; which is not another; but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ." Gal 1:6-7
