I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one...I am finding that people run stop signs more and more and more and more are winding up in an accident... People must think that the stop sign is for everyone else but them.. but of course that is the way they drive in Mexico

I dont know about any place other than Cancun but the bus drivers and taxi cab drivers can drive. We seen one wreck while we was there and guess what it was a tourist on a moped.

What a shame! I am a neighbor and have been told that the young driver who ran the stop sign, was under the influnce of ??? He was taken to jail by authorities. I just hope and pray he stays there! I have several family members who live in the area where the accident occured, this could have been one of mine! We need to be sure this person is punished, the other lady paid the supreme price, her life!!! Wake up people!!! Stop messing with that stupid stuff!!! Our prayers are with the Allman family. May God Bless you!

I think it's odd...the lack of detail regarding the two teenagers. Most stories indicate whether or not there was a citation or an arrest made.

who ever is responsible should get 107 years in prison. that could have been a car full of 5 people.

The teen that were driving the car that killed that woman weren't under the influence of anything. I want to get the facts straight. There was another vehicle that was trying to run the teens off the road and caused them to run the stop sign and hit the womans vehicle. The guy who was driving like an idiot should be charged not the teens who accidently ran the stop sign.

first of all you guys are very wrong, my brother was the passenger and his friend was the driver. it wasn't their fault that they missed the stop sign, their was an annoyance behind him, trying to race him, going around him, and driving fast. his friend looked in the rear view mirror trying to get out of the way and has soon as he looked in the rear view mirror he missed the stop sign and they collided. so keep your comments to yourself unless you know what really happened. if it was anyones fault it was the guy trying to race him. we are very very sorry for her loss and the driver and passenger are traumatized at what has happened. our prayers and love go out to the allman family.

I understand being broadsided by a car. On Feb. 16th a car, which I never saw, hit my driver side door. Although I am injured in multiple places, and am still in pain, I am very lucky not to have lost my life. It is a tragedy that Ms. Allman was not as lucky.

I also understand that the woman who hit me did not plan this accident. No one does. I actually have communicated with her on the phone and she felt so bad about it. I feel that you are sincere with your empathy toward the Allman family and friends and I commend you for stating so here. I know that your brother and his friend will have to live with this tragedy for the rest of their lives. I will pray for them as well as the Allman family.
