200 sickened from NM hazardous materials release

If the air ducts are shared in this industrial park the possibility could be traced to a mastic duct sealer which has rubber and resin components that give off a odor that some might identify as roasted chilies. This could only be the cause if the work was being done prior to the sickness overcame so many people. Once the application has dried, there is no noticeable aroma. There should be no long term effects for those who sought medical attention if this is the source.

Not a rocket scientist here, but what companies in the industrial park use fume producing chemicals?
