Here we go again, teens dying because they dont think and they dont measure danger.. i feel so sorry for the parents of these teens. I pray that God gives them strength and peace in their hearts. And to all teenagers out there, please be careful, dont drink and drive, think about the danger that is out there and most of all think about your parents, your family that they are waiting for you to get home safe. We never think things can happen to us, but it can happen to any of us that is why we need to be careful not to drink and drive, why are these teens drinking, they are not at age of doing it.. please parents watch out for your kids and explain to them what can happen.

How many times have we read this story already? Quite frankly I just can't feel for the teens, they knew the risks involved nor can I feel too much for the parents who do not enforce a curfew. I work at for a school district and I've seen the attitude of the teenagers but I blame the parents mostly because they simply don't care. Many parents expect the schools to raise their children for them and set a bad example themselves.

I can guarantee you it won't be the last time we read this story.

I agree. Its not going to be the last time we read horrible stories like this one. That is why we need to pay MORE attention to our children. Parents please encourage children to be careful. Explain to them what can happen if we drink and drive.

Had he no huevos to stand up to a 16 year old and make him come home at a decent time? I blame the Dad for not having a backbone Pinchi Jefe sin huevos. You Dads killed your sons, not the beer or the car or the road. Get your huevos and raise men not lost little boys that do not know right from wrong. Jefes que paresen bejas

Another sad story of young people dying too soon. Was it the speed?? Was it the Alcohol?? What reason could justify drinking/getting drunk on such a Holy Day as Easter?? Maybe IF they had to go through a DWI/Police checkpoint??? But then no, the Mayor says if they "appear to be Hispanic", the police should not be stopping them and asking questions." Is jail for DWI worse than what happened to these young people??? I bet the heart-sick parents would not think so.

Maybe they thought they would be resurrected like Jesus... Shame on the parents for letting their teenage sons be out and about past 3 am. Natural selection is a mean mother!

Wow, it is so easy to throw low blows when one is on the other side of the fence. These three kids were just like most teens their ages, thinking that no one could harm them, that they were invinsible. I was once 18 too, and i bet most of you were as well, so you should be able to relate. But the sad reality is that that is not true, life is fragile.

Martin was a second cousin of mine and I can tell you for a fact that he was not spoiled. He was a tough kid. He had much respect and love for his family. You all should be ashamed of yourselfs for attacking all their parents in this time of grief.

I agree this is not going to be the last time we read a story like this in the paper, but lets show some respect.

shit happens. This underage drinking thing is a ritual that most teens have to avoid growing up in El Paso. Ill be the first to admit drinking and driving when i was a kid was something i did. I thank God that Im still here and that i didnt have to put my parents through that grief. Thank you Jesus!

Note to Teens: Remember that one day you will no longer be a teenager and start to listen. That's advice coming from every human that is no longer a teenager AND HAS BEEN THERE BEFORE.

Many teens will mourn the loss, and I feel their pain. I too had friends hurt, and lost because of things like this. It is more painful for parents. Teens will grow and move on and remember. Sad thing is that they will cry and cry and do the same thing the following weekend and drink thinking it will never happen to them.

They will also remember when they too have kids and hope that THEY WILL LISTEN to what they have to say about friends they lost or fammily members who died.

Seeing many car accidents that result from speed, drinking, etc. is sad. Every day I pass that sign on the freeway counting traffic deaths. I say a prayer for everyone in El Paso and my family who is in the car with me.

I live on that side of town these young kids died on, and I am just glad they didn't hit anyone else who might have been traveling into town for the holiday.

If teens don't learn from this, it will repeat itself. But like one teen already commented, they will do as they pleese. One day they will wise up, but until then, let us pray that they still try and learn from this and honor their friends/family members death and LEARN.

I send my condolences and prayers to the the family and I am sorry that they are suffering a loss.

Yeah, where were you parents when your sons were out at 3 a.m.??? That's what happens when you don't keep tabs on your kids. You let them run around, doing whatever they want...then you wonder why tragedy strikes or why your kids are in jail or something else.

I just want to say how sad that they had to die like that, and no matter what we say nothing is going to change that. I hope that teenagers can learn from this and be more careful in a minute your life can change or be taken away.
