Shame on the commission and the county management. Suspend a hiring process and revise the auditor's job description and the charter? Did the previous auditor and investigator uncover too many wrong and illegal activities too close to home? If you stay stay clean, honest and fair there wouldn't be a need to "fix" that position or the process. That goes for the administration, human resources and the legal department.
