Cathedral football players' items stolen during game

Cell phones, iPods, wallets and clothing, including a pair of shoes, were stolen from Cathedral High School freshman football players during a game Thursday night at Santa Teresa High School, school officials said.

How does the Gadsden official know it was only two? Was he involved? I would lean more toward the Cathedral Coaches numbers. He would know what his players carry around with them.

I taught at both schools. It saddens me to see that santa teresa has sunk to an all time low, that is just poor leadership at the high school, steer the students in the right direction, be positive role models, enough of the lax discipline I have heard in the last two years..Only 3 schools made AYP in the entire district. Its sad to see the administration fail to educate the students and make more excuses...

Unsportsmanlike conduct to say the least. I hope the perps are caught, the missing items returned and in the future better security will be needed. Also, one might argue that valuables should be left at home but nowadays everyone needs a cell phone.
