I am not a resident, but read about the issue of prayer on FoxNews. I am so tired of Athiest saying their First Ammendment rights are being violated. So are OURS if we quit praying!!!!! Most prayers where sports are involved are simply asking for a hand of protection and good sportsmanship during the event! Do ya'll want bad things to happen? So we should rollover and let our Rights be violated. It's Freedom of RELIGION AND SPEECH!!!!

If there were more people praying instead of complaining this world would be a better place. when I went to school prayer and honoring flag were done before any thing else. This country was found on religion maybe this dad needs to move to another country.

I believe his parents moved to this country because we are the land of the free--religion, speech, etc. In persuit of the American dream. Now he wants our country to be the same as the countries of his heritage. No way, Mr. Fromm. Do not infringe on our rights and freedoms.

Praying citizens of Vernon: You deserve a standing ovation! You wonderful people ACTUALLY packed out your city hall to stand up for prayer and the right to do so. It has only taken a few to rip OUR rights from us and I am moved that you all would take the time to stand up for our rights! Certain groups seem to think to force us to give them their rights, means to rip ours from us! WRONG ANSWER! Mr. Fromm, if you and your son don't want to participate, no one is forcing you to, they way I understand it. Walk away a few yards to the 25 yd line and perform your own little ritual, but you don't have the right to take the others' rights away from them! The way I understand it is that no one is putting lead weights on your shoes and FORCING you to listen!...or show up a hair bit late. Plug your ears.
If your request, Mr. Fromm is heeded at all by city hall, then by ALL means, understand that your little group you advocate will not be allowed to meet on the same PUBLIC property either. Might want to consider what it might mean for them as well. If you pull out all stops and pursue what it seems like you are after...I will also promise to help the rights of prayer warriors as well. SINCERELY.
