It was the truest thing. If you did build it - a couple dozen luxury houses once planned for the isolated area in the far reaches of the Linda Vista hills - then the homeowners and their friends would have come, true.

I hope you knew, as you enjoyed your walk, that you were walking on private property and that the dedication was held on private property...not parkland. Hopefully the owners of that property that you so thoroughly enjoyed, and in effect invited others to enjoy, will be posting their property as private. I bet you'd really enjoy having all kinds of nature lovers enjoying a stroll or picnic on your property .
