One aspect of the office furniture industry that tends to do well even in economic hard times is used/refurbished office furniture. We find that business owners still need good quality pieces and appreciate the savings (as much as 70% off the price of new). Of course, it's always nice to see the demand for new furniture improving as well. We'll be refurbishing all the old pieces that the companies buying new furniture are liquidating!

Many employers are saving money by making improvements to their existing cubicles rather than replacing them. For example, our panel extenders are selling well for workplaces that need more noise control and visual privacy. They are far less expensive than buying new, full height cubicle walls for workstations.

We are finding that businesses are looking for either the used or refurbished furniture, or new furniture from bigger stores like Ikea where the prices are significantly lower. It is tough for small businesses selling office furniture since most companies are looking everywhere to save a buck.

There is still a demand for luxury and executive office furniture, like the ones for sale on www.orderofficefurniture.co.uk some companies are doing very well in the recession and purchasing some executive office furniture is sending out a strong signal that they are a solid business.

Furniture are designed to make you feel like you're in the office when you are at home is called home office furniture. They are not similar to office furniture. Manufacturers design home office furniture to suit the home environment.
