Please do not confuse us @ A.G. Auto Sales of Glen Burnie, MD with any other auto sales of similar name.
We are not part of a chain nor have we ever been. This is an independently owned business and has been so for many years! We are one of the few Buy Here, Pay Here Dealers left in MD:]

So me and my husband bought a car from a and g auto in Virginia beach in Feb 2011. We drove it and started having problems with different sounds. We told them that we would not make any payments unless they checked the car out for us. In the meantime they sent us the bill of sale but never the title so we couldn't drive it because we had no plates. So my husband contacted Cyprus finance and they made an agreement that if we western union the car payments owed that they would overnight us the title and then once we payed taxes to get the plates if we drove it back to VA beach they would check the car out for us to see what was wrong with it even though the warranty ended. Now keep in mind I put $2500 down on a 03 jaguar and I live in Maryland which is four hours away. So the day that my husband was going to western union them the money we owed he just happened to go outside to make sure the car was still working ok the whole engine blows up and my entire driveway was covered with oil and antifreeze. Also I never seen a check engine light ever come on and actually I never seen any indicator light ever come on for anything. So we got it towed to two different mechanics who both said that the engine had a big old hole and they could give us a rebuilt engine for $2500. Now at this time I purchased this car less than three months ago for $2500 down and the whole engine just blew up. Now they are trying to get me to pay all the car payments plus pay 50% of the engine costs plus get it towed to them so they can fix it which is four hours away. And I still never received a title to get my plates. The mechanics that I took it to said that the sensor system had to have been tampered with because if the engine was going bad a check engine or check oil light would have came on. Please help I don't know what to do. Any suggesstions? I would love to take them to court because its obvious that they knew something was wrong with the car otherwise they would have never tampered with the sensor system.

I bought a car from them with a warranty. The transmission went out 12 hrs later. They came to pick up, said they would fix and now, despite two major corporations' findings that the vehicle needs a new transmission, they won't fix. They said I'm going to pay them back b/c there is nothing wrong. I tried to get owner to just listen to me for two seconds and he kept speaking over me and when I said, "why won't you even listen to me", he said, "I don't have to listen to you." Gee, these guys offer great customer service. They shouldn't be in business.

I hope you guys know, that these guys are no longer in business, at least not in Arroyo Grande, CA.

I seen to it myself and I tried many many times to handle it man to man with them but they refused to have it, how dare they- I cannot judge them for the business they do but is this what they want to create and pass down to the children of this post 9/11 world?

we are outmatched and outclassed, The idea of Robin Hood is nice but when you turn your back on your own people that in itself is treason.

I'm no player hater, so they are still doing their thing in Santa Maria, CA. which is good- let this be a lesson that all of us need to be more wise in the future.
