Wake up Saint Paul. Denial is a bad thing.
Former SPHS principal Lori Francis Barr, aka, the defendant, will be sentenced June 29, 2012 in Norwalk Superior Court for stealing $65k from St. Paul HS. The judge gave her a break because she paid it all back and told him that she needed the money to buy necessities since she was a single mom. She also told the world that she was overcome with remorse so she turned herself in. The judge bought her lies and told her that he would give her a misdemeanor instead of a felony to save her teaching credential.(The judge didn't know that she spent $65k on expensive hotels and restaurants, boutiques, spas, all luxury items for herself and her loverboy San Pedro HS Coach Beachley.) And she turned herself in after dodging accountants and investigators and had no where else to hide. They were right about to bust her wide open when she rushed into confession. She wants to do a speaking tour on the evils of temptation to avoid going to jail.
