Pico Rivera City Councilman Ron Beilke trailed in his re-election bid Tuesday night, while archrival incumbent David Armenta and challenger Gustavo Camacho led in early returns.

Awesome news. It's a shame beilke will still have a voice with camacho.ramirez and Morones got more votes than beilke. It really shows what the community wanted and what we were tired of. Hopefully ramirez or morones can come in for the special election and clean up city hall starting at chucks office.

He is involved in the East Los Angeles Incorporation movement. He used this election to get more name recognition, that he could parley for the movement. He will be resigning within a year. This info came straight from Napolitano.

Pico Rivera voters, just remember that it was Ron Beilke who brought in Measure P and for that are parks will all be overhauled and we will get a new library, also the underpass on Passons will come to be because of Ron Beilke, this man has brought so much to our city, the citizens will see, I encourage them to attend City Council meetings and see who is leading, it won't be armenta he is useless, what a shame for a this town to lose such an intelligent man, but no worries APRIL is just around the corner.

Can you spell relief? Walk into city hall and you'll feel an undercurrent of euphoria. We're so happy the city pounced Beilke out. His days of narcisstic arrogance are over. Although there's more work to be done, we're well on our way towards resurgence in morality and integrity.

I have known armenta and Kevin for many yearsdavid won this election with his dirty mailers, but have no fear readers, he also will lose the respect from his son Kevin, Kevin did not write that letter that was out there this past weekend , david wrote it and the things he printed were very hurtful about Kevins mother, the first time ten years ago, he forged his sons name, kevin was outraged, now again he will be upset,so armenta is it worth it losing your sons respect to smear someone, you might have won, but you won very dirty,also having tracy email classmates with lies of how you have never had a scandle, convicted and jailed.your not a winner to any of us.

All I saw was Bielke's hate mail.....at St Mariannes Church this past Sunday a Man brought the Bielke hate pieces to Mass and many parishioners who supported Ron were taken back by the many anti-Armenta mail he put out there. Also, if you see the Bielke mailers, many pictures but none with PR Citizens...all outsiders...elected officials who were not from Pico Rivera but he couldn't find ONE resident who would pose for a photo
