Police and robbery suspect in standoff near hospital

Santa Fe Police have closed off the area around Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center after a robbery suspect was involved in a standoff.

Well, he has us held hostage in my work place - can't leave. The swat team is there and everyone has high power rifles, guns, etc. drawn on him in a field across from Del Norte Pharmacy.

I learned this morning that all the employees from Del Norte was evacuated and the surrounding buildings. I think I saw the car the guy is in - it was a blue sedan type car in the middle of Harkle right by Galisteo. Now they've got the 600 block of Harkle blocked with crime scene tape.
