Santa Fe man, 77, arrested for aggravated assault

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies say George Ulibarri pointed a gun at the victim and said "Give me a reason to put a bullet in between your eyes." We are told that while a deputy was with the victim taking a report, Ulibarri drove past the victim's home.

The whole story should be told. It's not like the paper printed it. Just because it's in black and white in he paper doesn't make it the complete truth.

Hey, he's my grandfather and I was at his trial and they're only reporting the bad things. This is only half the truth and he was cleared of all charges because they were bogus charges and even the judge agreed he should not have been arrested.
My grandfather is a good man. Former state police officer and protective of his whole family. The "victim" was his youngest daughter's ex-husband. He was protecting her and all he did was drive by her ex-husbands home to make sure he really had gone home and wasn't going to go after my aunt.
The arrest wasn't fair and there was a conflict of interest with the sheriff who arrested him. My grandpa is one of the kindest, most honorable men I know and the newspapers and stations only reported one half of the story. They painted him to be a criminal when he is the exact opposite!
