This spells the end to the Amtrack train through Raton. No one to maintain the track. Just another milestone in the history of the area.

Nice to see the New Mexico tax payers will not get the short end of the stick over Bill Richardson's loosing idea to operate a railroad to no where.

Dump the entire railroad. It does nothing but loose money.
