Appeals court rules in favor of city of Santa Cruz in Robert No...

Full story: Santa Cruz Sentinel

City leaders can legally throw disruptive audience members out of public meetings and arrest them if they don't go, an appeals court ruled this week, settling a lawsuit filed seven years ago after gadfly Robert Norse gave the mayor a straight-armed Nazi salute, refused to leave when asked and was taken away in handcuffs.

Robert Norse is such a societal waste. Imagine how many homeless mouths $114K could feed. What an grandstanding idiot.

Where does this fab. freak brother got his cash to sue the city? Robert Norse is Santa Cruz' supreme agitator.
I'd like the US to adopt the UK's policy on lawsuits. Sue someone and lose, you pay all the fee's that the defendant had. It would cause people to think twice before suing.
Too much BS lawsuits here.

In your face, Norse. Enjoy your continued obscurity, gadfly trustafarian.

Spoiled pudding -- sure, why not.

He got it from Daddy in Carmel. He's never had to work a real job and has millions in the bank. His real name is Robert Kahn.

Sad in a way, really.

Are you kidding me? We spent $144,000 on Robert Kahn Norse's shenanigens. That money would have fed a lot of homeless people at the shelter.
Robert needs to donate some of his trust fund to the city and apologize. Will that ever happen?

Oooooh. This is almost as good as soaking Robert's undies in hot chili flake oil from Omei and them giving him an atomic wedgie.

Of course, there's the hysterical hilarity of that other priceless clown, Christopher Krohn saying this: "in Robert's case, I feel sorry for him because I've never found him to be effective. Some of his issues are quite good. But if the proof is in the pudding, it's a lot of spoiled pudding."

Cheech and Chong come to mind.

Would it be possible to sue him and recoup all the fees/costs?

I guess they can go forward with prosecuting the case now, that should be interesting.

"This gives the government great power. It doesn't limit it to Nazi salutes," Norse said.

Good!

Now the city needs to sue KhaNorse for costs!

KhaNorse - do the RIGHT thing for ONCE and write the city a check fro $144,000 NOW!

Sum Dim, you are on fire tonight!!! But my recommendation is for the broom handle be dipped in Sriracha Chili puree (aka Rooster Sauce). I think it might be hotter than Tapatio.

Robert Kahn Norse is idiot - Need I say more. Lets take some of his cash build a homless shelter on his property and ship all of the human waste in town to his compound. Then he can deal with them.

I disagree with most of you! Robert Norse I'll call him) has never been afraid to take a stance on this idiotic city council. Unfortunately some people look at him as a shit disturber. Many homeless people like the idea of Norse being around to defend them and sometimes it has even worked.

Granted, Robert Norse has nothing constructive to contribute to local affairs, and jolly well deserved to be ejected but are they kidding me? "The dignity of the body"? Since when has the Santa Cruz City Council had dignity to begin with? They can't handle local affairs, yet presume to have the intelligence to comment on national affairs, i.e., the debate over legalization of marijuana, impeachment of a sitting President, conuct of a war on foreign soil. In the meantime, the downtown deteriorates, overrun with homeless panhandlers...and now the gang element is increasing. Way to go, Council members!
