Do you think these conservatives are just LGBTQ hate mongers who hate John Cohen's LGBTQ friendly support group?

egypt has a drug and alcohol problem right now, they'll work it out, They gotta work together for everything now- most of the arab countries are in disruption now, alot of the disruption is because of heroin addiction and alcohol use-mix that with islam and you got trouble. They need a governing body, and not depend or blame the political solution or situation on one person-

I get scared to death on holiday food now, because I have a vegetarian diet, and "meat grease" is a scary option because the disorder's involved. I can't trust other people's cooking etc.- I might risk some egg whites and go for a tofurkey roast etc.

I don't think anyone clean and sober really cares who's is gay or not, if someone sexually imposes themselves on someone, then they have a gripe I guess, for my personal experience, the people who "gay bashed" or attacked verbally gay people etc., turned out to be gay, just aggressive ones, most did speed etc. or crank. The "gay" crowd is usually the drug and alcohol crowd because they can't get it together enough to go out with the other gender because of drug and alcohol addiction, their are the exceptions like child molest victims etc, the bi or trans, already have or are raising kids etc. and are just about acceptable etc. in society, everyone know a trans or bi person anyways , they just don't know it.

Thanx for the video Jeff. As a former computer scientist, I am wary of high-tech solutions to low tech problems. Instead of trying to detect potential terrorists with high tech gadgetry which violate people's privacy rights, why not just create fewer terrorists through blowback? The U.S. was and still is the greatest creator on terrorists in modern times. The War on Terror, like the War on Drugs, seems to be a self perpetuating industry. Its ends are to justify an endless war on an undefined enemy who can never be defeated for the purpose of Empire.

Fraud, on the other hand, is completely different. There, high tech solutions along with some grunt work can yield great results. When I suspected the former management company of committing fraud, I asked a UCSC statistician if one of his students would be interested in analyzing my data to detect fraud. I thought it would be an easy task. This professor, who is an expert in his field, particularly machine learning, told me that the problem was defining an objective function.

What he asked will you be minimizing or maximizing? Machine Learning (ML) is all about maximizing or minimizing objective functions. ML experts think every problem can easily be solved with high powered statistical techniques. There are suites of data sets for testing ML techniques. When I brought that up, the statistician laughed. He said computer scientists have cleaned up the data so much by pre processing that they don't reflect the real world. I thought about it. He was completely right.

On the other hand, I have bought and read several books on fraud control and investigation. They were fascinating. Here, qualitative techniques combined with some data mining could produce software aids, not solutions, to detect fraud.

In the end, everything requires grunt work. The data is almost always messy enough or in some form difficult enough to process (and also uniquely different), that no high tech solution is available.

Old gum shoe detective work will always be required. That's what I would say if I was a federal agent teaching students in law enforcement: nothing will replace good old fashioned investigation.

Jeff, here I disagree with you. I am completely clean and sober. My addiction is tea, not alcohol nor drugs. I am not gay and never imposed any sexuality on anyone, male or female.

Th fact is that there are crazy people out there, people who love making trouble for others, who will always target someone, especially someone they envy, to take them down.

Look at Bernard Baran. He never imposed himself on anyone. What got the heat on him was a mother who was a former abuse victim who was determined that her daughter's perceived sexual abuse be believed. This obsessed woman was good friends with the local police chief's wife. When she complained to the police chief, he responded by going on a witch hunt against Bernard Baran, then roping in the DA who amped up the persecution. Mission Gardens is an example of petty trouble makers whose ability to inflict damage has been amplified by criminal companies and corrupt, callous government.

In a nutshell that is Bernard Baran's story and mine too. Watch the entire video.

Give us all a break, John. You, a computer scientist?! Aside from a two year work history 21 years ago, you haven't held a CS/IT or any other job since. You have a PhD in Computer Science from UCSC (how many years ago was that?), but that hardly makes you a computer scientist. I liken you and your PhD and computer savy to the kids leaving high school today with diplomas and yet cannot read or perform simple math.

absolutely fabulous, racketeering is often a racial(wannabe) or social services problem, Yeah, if you could make software to combat racketeering that would be great stat wise, racially? The probables are too great and often are clouded with other factors.

Heroin and drugs is the main cause of terror on this plant, heroin really disrupts the Islamic communities and the Taliban started to grow poppy's for the munitions with the war on russia, after the war, they tried to eradicate the poppy production by breaking the arms and legs of farmers etc., when the coalition forces showed ?? They resumed poppy production again-so in the end the global economies needed "shoring up" from the std/drug healthcare bills that cause economic shortcomings and afghan minerals fit the bill, but their heroin manufacturing contributed to the std/drug healthcare world wide.

well if think about the drug and alcohol addiction of his mom??, Alot of mom's sell their kids in way that's not really prosecutable, like letting their young daughters hang out with "older" boy's associated with drug dealers- they get drugs for this action etc. to let their younger kids hang out with "older" ones or sexually active ones.-- Bernard is using so - Who knows?? Its anyone's guess on that one? With the serotonin imbalance factor-anything can happen. Our courts do as well as our constitution allows, appeals and morrisey hearings are there to reinforce justice also. If someone is using in the judicial system when bernard was being trialed - then its bernard's lawyer's fault for not bringing in drug and alcohol addiction factors in to dis-claim the witness's and staff. If their was another "issue" in that family at the time with the same judicial problem, that would be a factor also.

both those men are pretty tore up, so the story they told is "cloudy" and not really "to the point", I can't really make a statement toward the case really, only factors that might pertain.

I have the feeling about what your saying is that because of "female abuse" treating you bad ,etc. on or about you , caused your homosexuality?? I think your drug and alcohol addiction BEFORE or after or during the altercation or the females using is a issue also, WITH THE FEMALE interaction and in the surrounding area is a factor also, with std, incarceration, racism, monet ary issues etc. etc. IS THE MAIN ISSUE, not being miss-treated by a female.
