lol good jokes.

but jokes aside, if i was managing that cemetary, and had experienced four occasions of cars crashing into the gravesite, i'd put up a more substantial fence, perhaps a concrete barrier like the median on highway 17.

The International Order of the Odd Fellows are a fraternal order with roots in the 14th century, formed by people who couldn't be Free Masons or another guild. The original Odd Fellows were non building tradesmen in the UK, who banded together to form a mutual aid society. Anyways, for whatever reason, the Odd Fellows in the US run cemeteries as well as a lot of charity.

I do not know what it is about Graham Hill Road, but I live a ways up that road and in the last dozen years, we've had numerous accidents, including a couple fatalities out front here. I've had to replace my mailbox several times. Generally its when its been raining, and late at night, someone comes up the hill to fast, spins out and crashes into the trees or power poles or fences. Most of these accidents have resulted in totalled cars, and more than a few DUI rides.

Why did the driver cross the graveyard fence? To get to the other side.

The explanation lies in the make and model of the car. Chrysler LeBaron.
That model has not been made for years; it died after 1995. It was a piece of shingle car. Trying to control a 15 year old Chrysler with perhaps a dubious maintenance history would be like trying to steer a camel while riding backwards. Who knows where you will go or end up. I will bet a dollar that the car had bad ball joints, worn brakes, bad shocks, and bald tires. They came that way from the factory!

one of the messier crashes up here was a Chrysler Cordoba. bald tires, going too fast in the rain, car was about torn in half by an oak. young male driver appeared tipsy.
