Nope. Most have cars. Few to none have DUI's. We just don't want to leave a dead world to the kids.

look- i am an old guy, an accountant- i work, own a home and pay taxes. lived most of my life on the westside. i want to be able to safely ride my bike to work and to shop on the streets that my taxes paid for. sure there are idiots on bikes but they aren't as dangerous as the idiots behind the wheel. daily i am nearly hit by drivers talking on their cell phones while drinking coffee and "driving". every person who chooses a bike over a car improves the quality of life for car user by reducing load on our streets- you should thank them!

When is the last time you scolded a fellow cyclist for running a stop sign? Do you EVER run stop signs? Your hypocrisy is showing...

Juan Carlos wrote: If they are working and paying taxes why don't they buy a car? Maybe too many DUI's? Good one. I always suspected that the guy pedaling his way to work lost his driver's liscense due to DUI or simple idiocy while driving. The proof is in the way they run stop signs and swerve in and out of traffic.

Dissident wrote: <quoted text> LOL! are you actually trying to suggest that car drivers don't receive speeding tickets...unregistered tickets...or any moving infraction? LOL! Can I have a show of hands for all the drivers who have ever received a ticket? Now, can I see a show of hands from bicyclist who've received tickets? Humor me....what do think the results should be? Share the road....the WHOLE the road, including liabilities and responsibilities, or go back to your sand box. This is a completely ridiculus argument. There are many, many times as many cars on the road than cyclist. Also,If a cyclist breaks the law they may slow someone down or maybee hurt someone, but more often it's car that kill someone. That's why the difference in numbers. Try this: commute to san jose and keep track of how many moving vehicle violatins you see, and then come report the numbers that envolved cars and the number that envolved bicycles!

I think it shows a complete lack of backbone for the director of People Power to condemn other cyclists. Spend some time advocating on behalf of cyclists why don't you? Two cyclists killed on one street in one year adds up to Micah telling other adults how they should ride bikes? Amazing.
