it is really sad that the true owners of the house had to endure what these two idiots did. this could have happened to anyone of us. thanks for finding them guilty. maybe a little jail time will make them think about what they did.

What a mess this jerk caused. Did he really think the current owners would just say "okay, I guess you own it" and walk away. I hope he gets at least 2 years for this!

If his grandma intended to give it to him, as he claimed, why did she sell it to someone else instead? I'm sure she had a pretty good reason! Maybe she already figured out the kind of person he is and didn't want her house going to someone like that.

I think house arrest is appropriate. I doubt the judge will sentence to probation having come this far with a jury trial.

He has two young children at home.

What angers me is watching Wall Street bankers rip us off in broad daylight with the approval of the President and congress.

Thanks for pointing out that this "criminal" has a wife and children that had nothing to do with this. Come on people! Save your venom for the murderers, child molesters, and politicians. Get a life.

No. Only to those that do not pay attention to detail. Some of us actually make sure all of our t's are crossed and i's are dotted when it comes to important matters like ownership of a house.

i am not friend of anybody in this affair but saw much of trial
feel very bad for all concerned

the poor wife and children as well as victims

this guy was truly a knucklehead, insane or heavy drugs/alcohol??? i mean how else do you possibly think you can pull off stunt like this

defense attorney and prosecutor both good guys, don't like to see posters slam them, they rightfully fought hard and clean for their side
judge aaa+

who knows if jury was right, i don't
but given performance of court agents can only feel good about our justice system

I was raped in New York. The perpatrators lawyer called me and asked me to recant my testimony because the perp had kids and a pregnant wife at home. While I felt for his family, I felt even more for possible future victims. If he didn't think about the reprocussions for his family, why should the jury? And yes, the Wall St. gang angers me, too!

I am Ray Tate's wife. Our family has been a part of this community for a long time. We have 3 children ages 1-12 Ray is a vital part of their lives. He made a horribe mistake and is very sorry. If you believe that a good person can make a mistake, if you believe a good person deserves a second chance, and if you believe that a child needs their father please email me in support of our family. [email protected] Please no hate mail, we are devastated already. Thank You. Anjie Tate
