Calderon: US should fix economy, then immigration

President Felipe Calderon said Thursday he knows Barack Obama is committed to immigration reform, but that the best thing the American president can do - even for Mexicans - is to fix the U.S. economy. Full Story

What a bunch of lunatics. Calderon has the right to say what he wants. He is a Persident, just like Bush and very soon Obama. That's what they do...I have said it before and I'll say it again, we are going no where. Both Obama and Napolitano are questioning the necessity and effectiveness of Immigration and Customs Enforcement's work site enforcement raids

On February 24, 2009, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) executed a work site enforcement raid at the Yamato Engine Specialists plant in Bellingham, WA. This was the first ICE raid of the Obama Administration and resulted in the arrest of 28 illegal alien workers.

However, it seems that neither President Obama nor Department of Homeland Secretary (DHS) Napolitano are happy that the raid even occurred. White House spokesman Nick Shapiro said, "these raids are not a long-term solution.... The president believes we must respect due process and our best values as we enforce the law. The real answer to our broken immigration system is to fix it. The president has said that we will start the immigration reform debate this year, and this continues to be the plan." DHS Secretary Napolitano is so displeased with the ICE raid that she has ordered an internal investigation to determine why it was allowed to happen.

It is possible that President Obama and Secretary Napolitano's reluctance to support ICE's Bellingham raid stems from the vocal denunciations coming from pro-illegal worker and special interest groups. In fact, these groups are claiming that their members are overloading the White House switchboard with angry phone calls about the raid.

Please visit your Action Buffet and send faxes to President Obama and Secretary Napolitano. It is vital that the President and the Secretary hear from Americans who support ICE's work site raids. Please phone them using the phone notes on your Action Buffet.

I just love how Calderdum sits in his glass house chunking rocks at the US by having the immense gall to tell us how to run our country.
As for Prez.Obama pushing thru any immigration reform, see the problem is the job security loving folks in Congress, when their phone lines literally crash due to the volume of people calling & screaming no amensty, nothing for these illegals! they don't vote for it. Happened last June when the Bush/McCain/Kennedy Immigration reform bill was up for a vote. It went down in flames, even ultra liberals backed off. Since even more citizens have joined the ranks of the anti-illegal logic since then I still don't anticipate any bill "helping" these criminals will pass into law anytime soon.

Let Calderon solve the problems in his country and stop worrying about our economy as we all know if we have problems he doe's too.The money going south from the US need to stop and let them deal with their own financial problems and stop begging for more money from us.Send the illegals home, the US can deal with its problems without having more from the criminals coming north.

Mexico should fix ITS economy, instead of telling us how to enforce our immigration laws.

We shouldn't have to be the dumping ground for overbreeding Mexicans who deliberately overbreed as their means of "taking over" our country:

"Reconquista" if you don't already know, is an attitude most (not all!) Mexicans have toward "taking over" the US.

http://www.americanpatrol.com/REFERENCE/Quote...

A few direct quotes:

"We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population... I love it. They are sh----ng in their pants with fear. I love it... we have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him."
-- Jose Angel Gutierrez (professor, University of Texas)

"The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."
-- Excelsior (The national newspaper of Mexico)

"We are practicing La Reconquista in California."
-- Jose Pescador Osuna (Mexican Consul General)

"We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos... non-Latinos aren't watching, they aren't raising questions."
-- Fernando Guerra (professor, Loyola Marymount)

"Republica del Norte," the Republic of the North, which would include the present U.S. states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, plus southern Colorado, along with several current Mexican states, is "an inevitability." The new "Hispanic homeland" should be brought into being "by any means necessary."
-- Charles Truxillo (professor, University of New Mexico)

"... you are like the generals who command armies! We're in a state of war!"
-- Armando Navarro (professor, University of California)

"Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die.... Through love of having children, we are going to take over."

If you really believe you are "going nowhere" stop sniveling when we enforce our immigration laws.

After all, you've not going anywhere, so relax.

If only USA mind its own business none will die out of poverty.
If USA under Obama decent enough to take care of their own citizens then there will never be a soup kitchen and the population in prison will be less than now.

Dear Fraulein,

Your original post stated that the US should lower it's flag as some sort of open borders mantra. What you fail to acknowledge is that many of these disadvantaged poor have no intention of becoming part of our society other than to leech from it like many Mexicans do today. They come to the US to birth their babies in order to gain benefits they aren't entitled to then use the baby as an anchor to gain citizenship for extended families. In the process of doing this they deny people across the world the opportunity come here legally and become a part of our nation. How do they do this...well by increasing hostility against lawful immigrants due to the billions in aid illegals get and are now demanding as if by fiat. In the US it estimated that 20% of the criminals in our jail systems are illegal aliens the majority of which are Mexicans. It would appear that Mexico has encouraged their criminals to come to our shores instead of preying on their own people. They said as much indignantly when criminal aliens were booted from our country and the crime rate has risen dramatically on their side of the border. You lady are just another dilettante who assumes the public should pay for the world since you are more than likely not a taxpayer nor a productive member of society. Do state your opinion and then assume you are somehow noble reinforces my earlier post regarding your intelligence. It's not so much your lack of English comprehension that I object to it's the statements makes no sense in German or any other language. Perhaps instead of lecturing Americans on what we should do maybe you should open your door to a refugee family in the camps in France and let us know of your experiences soon after. I think you won't be so giving with other people's resources once yours are squandered

My simple amigo,

I am merely trying to save you time & trouble.

You say you are sure our immigration laws will never be enforced.

So, find something better to do with your time than commenting in these immigration forums.

Unless you're bluffing, of course.

Bluffing about what? You are a master of manipulation, Patricia. I never said I was sure the laws would not be enforced. All I said was that the administration had that under control. Focus.

We both have some language problem.
It is not my intention to uphold any illegal person or system.
in this case i had opined that even illegal persons had contributed their service to make USA as supre power while USA without any logical reasons had killed many around the globe.
Quote me not Marshal plan and democracy.
I was born in india while public law 420 had forced nehru to form a Non-Alighned group which is dead now.

Moreover sir
it is not my intention to belittle the Americans but i will expose the American systems till all the americans join with US and not with USA

"Ramafuchs"

Whatever
You: We both have some language problem.

-Me: No I have no problem with the language whatsoever in my understanding or intent. You on the other hand come to an American public forum and make gibberish statements

You: It is not my intention to uphold any illegal person or system.

-Me: Umm yes it is. You are advocating that we open our borders and surrender our flag. That's not only surrendering our legal policies it's a surrender of our sovereignty. Ask Germany to do the same...it won't happen not even with the EU or why do you think they really don't want the Turks to join. They know they will be overrun with 60 million Turks trying to jump on the Western EU benefit system and bring criminal gangs from Asia into the EU with greater ease

You: in this case i had opined that even illegal persons had contributed their service to make USA as supre power while USA without any logical reasons had killed many around the globe.

-Me: Really how have illegals contributed to making us a superpower? Did some illegal invent the guidance system for our missiles or did some illegal come up with a nuclear deterrent strategy to hold off nations like Pakistan and keep the Soviets at bay? No no illegals did that nor did any illegals die in our wars since they aren't combat eligible or didn't you know that? Illegals cleaning toilets and mowing lawns don't make for Superpowers even in Germany. I guess all the killing the US did in WW1 and 2 was all for naught and unnecessary as well

You:Quote me not Marshal plan and democracy.
I was born in india while public law 420 had forced nehru to form a Non-Alighned group which is dead now.

-Me: OK I didn't quote you the Marshall Plan or democracy. What Nehru and a non aligned group has to do with this conversation is beyond me but I assume you think it does even though it doesn't since public law 420 as per a google search doesn't exist in reference to either India or Nehru but nice try at trying to fake your way out of losing this argument outright. As per India they aren't exactly welcoming of other cultures either so once again you mystify those of us who use logic in our conversations

You: Moreover sir
it is not my intention to belittle the Americans but i will expose the American systems till all the americans join with US and not with USAI

-Me: I don't believe you. A lot of Europeans make this assumption that they know what's best for the USA and it basically amounts to a jealousy/envy thing since it hurts their egos that they aren't on top of the political food chain. Exposing American systems isn't likely to make Americans betray their country and join in with unproven groups whose objectives are not aligned with those of American society. You're belief systems are borne of socialist fantasy and will never amount to anything more than debating points among synchophants. Thanks for playing

What burns him up is he's not legal, and obama is dragging his feet about granting anyone amnesty.

So I guess he's going to have to continue to hide under his rock.
