Dear SCPD, please make things as unpleasant as possible for this transient before the homeless center and city council give every possible excuse for his behavior and the key to the city to him.

Great, a transient who will get counseling upon release, along with a bed at the homeless hotel. I'm sure we'll see him on Pacific soon.

I've known dave and his brother rick for atleast 25 years, both had a rough childhood including watching both their parents die at a young age. Both have had numerous problems through out their whole life including multiple run ins with the police, but both are harmless!Just products of this town.Dave can be really annoying E.G.begging for roaches on westcliff in the morning, throwing rocks at kids making fun of him,or just being drunk.but like i said he is harmless and just probally forgot to take his meds .LET HIM GO stick him back in the halfway house good luck Dave

Move the central bus station out of PGM. Its such a carp hole. With the Sheriffs office most likely moving - move it over there. Huge mostly useless public building. Demo it and move the offices over there too. Sure most people that move through there are fine, its the derelicts that hang out that cause problems.

Sorry, but its hardly harmless to intimidate others with a knife. Maybe "harmless" dave can move in with you and your kids?

Maybe the city could hire him as the moderator at that santa cruz skate park.Give him some responsibility , and pay him with beer...it could be the turning point in his life.

I used to skate derby with that kook before he became a tro ll, he wasn't such a bad kid back then but he never had anything to share (nice way of saying he was mooch), he wasn't a good skater, but for a lame little hellgy he wasn't all bad,it was quite a shock to see how quickly he went down hill, I wouldn't even recognize him now, funny how people turn out.

The one thing I will say is at least he's a local, if you aint from around here you don't have much room to talk in my book, about locals down on their luck, hope he gets help.

Hard life or not, drunk or not, Mr. Willoughby is answerable for his behavior.

If this beast was waving a knife about, I would hope a baton was applied to his skull to sooth him. Small wonder good people avoid downtown on Saturday nights.

Such characters should have their foreheads branded so decent people may know they cannot hold their liquor.

This frakker has a long and ugly history. He is a VERY DANGEROUS person, who should be institutionalized.

With the liberal minded koom ba ya folks around, we are all in danger.

light up you morons. his mother was shot in the head right in front of him and his brother. enough said. you would be scared for life too. think about why he is like he is. high and my tranny's and local kook flavor. shut up. so he's a troll. he didn't mean to witness the death of his parents. he could surf, and skate. he enjoyed it. wether he ripped or not isn't the question here. he enjoyed these things because it took his mind off the fact the you poeple live in this town

yep, Dave is a good guy Rick too, and what I remember from the story is that the guy cut her throat and then tried to cut Ricks but he was able to snap the knife in half as the guy was trying to slash his neck then he ran and got another knife and killed the guy while he was attacking Dave. I belive they were both under 10 yrs old at the time too. Dave is kind of annoying at times, but he has good heart and soul, he's respected somewhat by the true locals or at least tolerated. I've known these two for over 30 yrs and never have I seen or heard of either of them being truly bad to other people.

If I were a Santa Cruz City taxpayer, I'd demand the city council, mayor and all administrative positions be located immediately adjacent to or within a brand new homeless shelter with an open concept to allow the homeless and runaway juvenile druggies to have immediate access to the leaders of Liberal Land and all could share the same bathroom facilities to ensure the continued group intimacy and tolerance so beloved by the left!
