There is no Rispin Mansion. Just a few crumbling, moldy, ugly walls. What a fantasy to believe there is more than a ruin there. The city of capitla is lacking park space and is in danger of losing Jade St(Its rent a Park) to the school district.7the ruins and reswtore the open space and use it as a needed green space for residents as it is being used now

This was a lousy location for a mansion in the first place. Locals joked as it was being built. The site was damp, steep, and had no sun. It's still a joke as a hotel except when you add up the taxpayer $$$ it's not very funny. Don't through more good money after bad. Restore the land & let it be used as much needed open space.

Where is Glen Hanna when we need him? Stop the taxpayer give-away to BSB! It's the amateurs at work again--all in the public interest, of course--not. More citizens are in BSB's back pocket in this county than people who live in Capitola. They've co-opted Aptos, Capitola, and Santa Cruz--could the rest of the County be far behind?

Over $500,000 to construct each room if 25 is the magic number. That seems to be pushing the envelope for a return on the investment if you ask me. The site is not really that nice looking into the parking a stale creek and surrounded by Apartments.

Glen Hanna loves the spotlight, for sure. What has he done to support Capitola?

As far as i see it, Barry Swenson is the only guy with any guts to deal with all the BS that this County or City dishes out. Who in their right mind would take on this consistent brain punishing activity?? Thank God someone is willing invest in Santa Cruz County...i think he is the only one around with guts...all the small minds and blockers have chased everyone out with their green mail extortion!
