Thought she could be A real teacher too!

She's the one trying to convince everyone she could be one.
Just sayin'. |

Becky obviously can't connect the dots the way that people with three digit I.Q.'s can, so I'll connect them:
A; nobody cares what loony things she thinks she's entitled to. B; The public cares even LESS what Becky has decided the homeless are entitled to at OUR expense.. C; the only person that cares is her screwball sidekick Norse. D; The newly arrived vagrants care only for a short time, then they figure out that Becky doesn't do anything to help them, just her own empowerment agenda. |
Exactly! Her whole thing is about taking from one group to give to another that does not want to do anything, which includes her. |
|
i dont know, have you seen some of the hookers around here........eww old and fat!!! just like becky |

I think I just lost my appetite.

Beware women grown old who were never anything but young

We're waiting??? |

I heard that Robert is the father of one of her children. That's why he keeps her around. A friend of mine said that once when he tried to break it off she went crazy. She couldn't take being left by another one of the fathers to her children. It freaked him out so much that he keeps her around, but uses her to get what he wants done.

Makes sense as to the bond those two nut cases have with each other.

No word from Becks in awhile.
Looks like she can't take the heat in this kitchen. |

DAVE WRITES: "What about the police and firemen that grew up here and are now faced with a financial situation that makes it impossible to continue living here?"
BECKY: Police officers and firefighters earn a lot more money than teachers do, AND their training is paid for at government expense. Teachers must pay for their own education. To be a police officer, you must be in the police academy for 6 months. To be a SUBSTITUTE teacher, you must have a FOUR YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE, pass the CBEST test, and be cleared by the Justice Dept. Unlike most substitute teachers, I also have a preliminary teaching credential, but I am not paid any more for this training. Why do we pay teachers so poorly??? Do we hate children? Do we have so little respect for teachers that we don't pay them them similar pay as that earned by firefighters and police officers? Apparently. And some of those posting here demonstrate extreme disrespect for the teaching profession. I am lobbying for substitute teachers to be paid the same wages as subs in Berkeley, Gilroy, San Jose, and Los Angeles are paid. What is wrong with that? |
And let's see here. You chose to be a teacher versus a policeman or fireman. You chose to pursue a career that required you to pay for the training. You chose to live here versus a place you could get paid more. You accepted your job knowing what the pay and benefits were. You're really not making a case for yourself. |

But we're supposed to pay for all the bad choices she made. But she's exempt from personal responsibility. Don't you know THE RULES?
|
I am sorry Becky... not ALL the training by police and firefighters is paid by the government. Most cops and firefighters attend college to some degree, either at the local or university level, and this they pay for themselves. True, as a recruit you get paid training, but at this point you are now an employee. Many cops/firefighters I know put themselves thru an academy prior to getting hired at their own expense, and paramedic school is now upwards of 10 thousand dollars upfront, with no guarantee of passing. the other thing I need to point out that is quite obvious is the degree of risk these two professions take versus that of a teacher, therefore the increased pay. Yes, we chose the job and know the risks of death or injury are quite high, but obviously we have been able to convince our communities that pay us that we are worth it. Now as a teacher, you and your union need to convince the community that YOU are worth it, or find another job that pays you what you want. |

SIMBA WRITES: "the other thing I need to point out that is quite obvious is the degree of risk these two professions take versus that of a teacher, therefore the increased pay."
BECKY: I appreciate your corrections. So firefighters and police officers are not hired directly out of high school? About the risk factor, while it's true that teachers don't take out snipers or charge into burning buildings, we do have up to 35 often rowdy, hormone-charged, teenagers at a time to manage. We do this with no weapons, radios, or armor, and often without a partner. Once, while in a classroom a dangerous incident occurred so I called the front office. The call went to voicemail. We also work in a sea of germs every day, so infectious disease is another risk factor. Teaching is not all that safe. |

Germs? Compare that to what a fireman must do! Do you have the guts to run into a flaming building because some crackhead says that one of her children might be in there? Or a policeman putting his future on the line for YOU every time he makes a traffic stop at night? How frightening do you think it is to stop a car with tinted windows at night? There could be some whacko with a shotgun in the back seat pointed at you! How DARE YOU compare THAT to a substitute teacher(alleged teacher) in a grade school. Once again you have proven to everyone what a self serving KOOK you really are! Go away you stupid woman, your loony crusade was kaput years ago.

What the F kind of germ infested environment would be produced if there was a Becky's troll world created here? Which employees would have the privilige of being exposed to it? Police? Firemen? EMT? Oh wait, THAT's different! You've already decided their salaries should be cut, to help your army of vagrants from all over the planet.

So teaching is not risky and so its "okay" to underpay the people who do it?
What about this? from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_shooting University of Texas at Austin massacre Orangeburg massacre Kent State shootings California State University, Fullerton library massacre Cleveland Elementary School shooting Parkway South Junior High School shooting Oakland Elementary School shooting Cleveland Elementary School shooting University of Iowa shooting Lindhurst High School shooting Simon's Rock College of Bard shooting East Carter High School shooting Richland High School shooting Frontier Junior High shooting Hetzel Union Building shooting Bethel High School shooting Pearl High School shooting Heath High School shooting Westside Middle School shooting Parker Middle School shooting Thurston High School shooting Columbine High School massacre Heritage High School shooting Buell Elementary School shooting Santana High School shooting Granite Hills High School shooting Appalachian School of Law shooting University of Arizona School of Nursing shooting John McDonough High School shooting Red Lion Area Junior High School shootings Case Western Reserve University shooting Rocori High School shootings Red Lake High School massacre Campbell County High School shooting Pine Middle School shooting Platte Canyon High School shooting Weston High School shooting Amish school shooting Virginia Tech massacre Delaware State University shooting SuccessTech Academy shooting Notre Dame Elementary shooting Louisiana Technical College shooting Mitchell High School shooting E.O. Green School shooting Northern Illinois University shooting BECKY: This lists ONLY school shootings. It doesn't include knifings and assaults. Nor does it include exposure to infectious disease. Teachers often break up fights between students which also puts them at risk. I just don't see why teachers shouldn't be paid equivalent to other public servants such as firefighters and police. Especially considering that teachers are required by law to have MORE college education than either police or firefighters. |
