Steepest paved Road Grade in metro Santa Cruz?

I assume its Miramar dr. on the west side etc. by safeway on mission st.--spring st. is pretty steep also on the west side--does anyone know--?--Next time I go out I'll take a photo and post on flicker--so people can a idea or its percentage grade.

Yea you right, I think Miramar wins hands down. Second might be Bayona which is close by. Then maybe Western Drive. I don't think Spring is steeper than Western. Also there is a fire access road to Meder canyon off of Alta Vista or Arroyo Seco. It's very roughly paved and not even open to the public but it rivals Miramar. Arroyo seco itself is also as steep as spring and Western.

Laurent between Escalona and Moore st is Steep too with tight views from the top of it.

Laurel by SCHS has a sudden steep bump hill, but still not more drastic than Miramar. When I was a teenager me and some frinds used to roll things like cement round water valve covers down Miramar. Lolz

I got a Dslr--I'll try and pull a "long range spot metering" move , and try and make the store's etc .look like candy toy pieces etc.

Brookwood which is open for the Archery Range in DeLaveaga has sections with 30+% grades. It is only open to car traffic every now and then.

miramar is steeper than bayona

i know of the path from mga to meder too

it's not that steep and has too many eucalyptus seed pods
