My career in computer science as a newly minted Ph.D. was derailed by TerraCorp Financial and then The John Stewart Company. More specifically my career in computer science was derailed by the sociopaths running these firms, both enabled by government as CalHFA and HUD stood by doing nothing to protect me from these unethical, predatory companies.
In turn, they remolded me as an advocate for tenant's rights using the tools of journalism, private investigation and social media.
I have been wrestling with the government to require it to uphold its responsibilities to the people. I have advocated with local, county, state and federal agencies. My efforts are paying off. I expect substantive victories.
After that occurs, I hope to be able to return to my career as a computer science researcher while also being an advocate for those whose voices are not heard in the halls of power.
I intend to prove that the pen is indeed mightier than the power of money and brute force. With a computer, fax machine, copier, scanner, audio and video recorders as well as a camera, one can leverage social media to conduct guerilla activism. My doctoral education with a word class linguist uniquely prepared me for this guerilla activism.

Impressive work history!!!
Why not add your most recent accomplishment, becoming homeless. According to the eviction letter you stalked and threatened neighbors, made up accusations about your neighbors to get them in trouble with the police---which ended up with you being reprimanded. The cherry on top of your eviction sundae was your threatening to go "postal" on apartment management.
Small wonder you haven't been employed since 1992!
