The New York Times wrote a story about keeping Santa Cruz safe vs weird?
Doesn't that strike anyone as ODD?
How does the New York Times come up with such an idea for a story, was it perhaps pitched to them? Or maybe someone offered a de facto press release?
How many stories have appeared in both the news and internet blogs about this supposed rift between people who want a safe community in Santa Cruz and those who want it "Weird" and by the ways these stories are being written, unsafe?
Thoughts from the peanut gallery?
