Holiday World is GREAT. I went as a child when it was Santa Claus Land and again in my teens when it changed to Holiday World.

Now I have kids & we went twice this year. We had a great time on each visit.

The park cannot be beat for a clean, fun, time.

The description of the elements making up this new attraction make it sound like a larger version of the Monsoon Lagoon at the park.

I truely miss Holiday World, we had to move to Alabama for my job, but our family really loved it. I wish them well and everyone in Indiana please enjoy it. Montgomery does not have anything that nice around it.

Will this replace the Monsoon Lagoon - which it sounds exactly like, down to the ever-filling, ever-tipping water bucket?

Or will it be just another version? Is it still for kids or more for adults too?

More info please

Can monkeys swim?!?!
I've never seen a monkey get in water...unless it was sitting on a low-hanging limb above the water and an alligator came springing out the water to snap the little feller off in the blink of an eye...

Come to think of it, they just might protest. They can provide their own legal representation too. Monkeys and attorneys both fling a lot of crap...

I was wondering the same thing as I was reading it. I went last year for 2 days and the family enjoyed it more than we ever have. I've been there numerous times and it always gets better. GREAT WORK KOCH's!!!!

A "monkey-themed family waterplay attraction..."
That makes me think about that old saying from childhood:
"Tarzan, Tarzan, in the air...Tarzan lose his underwear! Tarzan say 'Me no care! Jane make me 'nother pair!
Jane, Jane, in the air...Jane lose her underwear! Jane say 'Me no care! Boy make me 'nother pair!
Boy, Boy, in the air...Boy lose his underwear! Boy say 'Me no care! Cheeta make me 'nother pair!
Cheeta, Cheeta, in the air...Cheeta lose his underwear! Cheeta say 'Me no care! Me no need no underwear!"

Thank you, thank you very much...

Kima Bay is a much larger version of Monsoon Lagoon. (Seven slides versus four, etc.) It is *not* replacing Monsoon Lagoon, it's in addition to it. We needed more capacity in Splashin' Safari and feel Kima Bay will help.

we love the place. I take my wife and 2 little girls every year. This was the first year we could ride all the slides and stuff as a family unit. Kids are growing up fast. Why not have another attraction like monsoon? They have 2 rivers, 2 wave pools and they are always packed with people. I don't think they will have any problems filling the new attraction.

Looking forward to next summers trip.

I'm fine with another similar attraction. I was just trying to fully understand the article.

We took our daughter there just two weekends ago and she had a blast. Especially at monsoon lagoon so I'm sure the monkey-attraction will be a nice addition.

The theme is defensive - We should have learned from the jena6 parade

I think you mean "offensive." If you're going to make bigoted remarks, at least use the right words.

Typical bigot...

Well, O.K., then...I stand corrected.
...and I wouldn't mind sitting in a hot spring-fed warm pool, myself. In fact, I did that one night when I had too much to drink and the line for the restroom was out the door...

awsome park...by far the cleanest. free drinks what a concept!! free sun screen!! that is why we keep going back because they truly have the customer in mind. i too went as a child to Santa Claus Land. they definitely have the right idea by adding something new each year. and the price is very reasonable

I am going to be the kill joy here but...4 levels to climb with a continuous feed of water...I don't know how safe it seems...

now let the "you are a wussy" onslaught begin...
