Public can buy new 'Indiana' penny at May 14 ceremony

The U.S. Mint will introduce its new “Indiana” penny depicting Abraham Lincoln's Hoosier years at 10 a.m. May 14 at the Lincoln Amphitheatre, near the homestead where Lincoln grew up.

It's possible that tomorrow won't be that easy in Lincoln City. From what I hear alot more people will be attending this second release ceremoney at Lincoln City. The town doesn't have a ton of extra parking and it looks like things may prove interesting. Besides the average collectors, ebay seller's will be headed to Lincoln City in hopes of cashing in on these new Cents. The media has called this event a possible "numismatic Woodstock" so watch the news, things may prove to be interesting.~ Jim

Jim what is the price of the first cents..in your area ? We are paying on average $16.00 on two roll p&d sets and the goverment box set is $25-30
