The village should check with Guiness Book of World Records to see if they qualify for having the most Police Chiefs in 10 years. Jasso has been with the department since 2005 but I don't think he was chief all that time.

Or is brother. Everybody that lives there knows Jasso was the biggest drug dealer. maybe they will get a chief who is honest.

This butthead was so corrupt that his relatives thrived at dealing rugs. May they go down now. But then again law enforcement in Santa Clara is so $$$ oriented to make the village more money, and so is the water bills they double charge, and my sister can prove it, but the corrupt Regulation commission of NM is they won't take her calls. What is the difference between gray water, and sewer? but Santa Clara people still are charged for both, even they go down the same drain.

The cops that are employed there are being considered for the Police Academy at WNMU right now.

.

Santa Clara is a good village with good people.
The money saved could go to the upkeep of the
local cemetery to hire a full time caretaker.

Sad the church took over due to the initiative
by a few good churchgoers who have taken it upon
themselves to clean up and tidy the cemetery.

The new VA hospital at Fort Bayard will now be
part of the tax base for Santa Clara. Sorely
needed income for the village.

Come on Santa Clara the money will be there
and don't leave it up to these older women
and good churchgoers to clean up the cemetery.
Hire a caretaker and put them to work for
what the village should already be doing.

Good bye you piece of crap Jasso. You were the worst thing to happen to Santa Clara. You are a liar and a fraud. Your ego is so big that you sucked up all the good air. No more hiring gang members or meth heads as your little flunkies to do your bidding. Creep. You should be in jail.

I agree. Hope you stay on this story Christine. I am real curious as to why the Village of Santa Clara officials have always covered up stuff for this guy. What does he have on them? Did he get to take the Harleys with him?

I agree. Somebody needs to keep an eye on this guy and make sure he doesn't show back up as a State Cop or as a Deputy or as a Police Chief somewhere else or an undercover detective DEA or ANY position.
Keep an eye on him

lest he show back up as a State Cop or a Deputy Sheriff or a DEA dude or a Border Patrol man - ANY State Agency position should be off limits to this bad man.

It was always about himself! He didn't do a damn thing for santa clara but spend all the money! The mayor was all whipped by him, too that's why they both got away with so much at the expense of the residents and village money! GOOD RIDDANCE!

I heard the late deputy clerk was bringing up suspicious "things" going on with this piece of shit Jasso, but guess what? She got fired! Anyone heard anything more of this? The press should contact her!
