Probation violation lands Santa Clara man back in jail

A Santa Clara man, who, along with several other individuals, pleaded guilty to bilking New Mexico's Children, Youth and Families Department out of thousands of dollars in 2008, was back in the Grant County Detention Center Monday on allegations he violated his probation. Full Story

He was only ordered to pay five thousand dollars in restitution? This guy should have been sent to prison or jail for at least a year. What a lucky dog!

Many people are released off probation/parole before they pay off their restitution. I think that is what this criminal is up to. Puppies on Craigs list, Bah.

What a payoff... bilk the state out of thousands and only pay $100 back, which was likely "earned" through forcing dogs to breed. Nice!
