Unemployment numbers are comprised of those that are in the job market for the past 30 days. It does not include those that have not been in the job market in the last 30 days: people who have given up looking; those that have gone off unemployment because it has run out. One solution to unemployment is "High Speed University" check it out

The lack of real enforcement of the DUI Laws is the number one problem. The second issue is that most repeat DUI offenders are drunks (if that term offends you, alcoholics). They should be treated that way when they are standing in court on their second DUI. This should be the alarm bell for the family and law enforcement. The offender will be the last person to admit that they have a serious problem.

Nobody should get to a 12th DUI! They should be sitting in Prison cooling their heels and drying out. Perhaps then we can see a drop in the killing of innocent bystanders who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Around here another glaring problem with DUIs is judges who are allowed to circumbent the laws with personal rulings that have no place in court. The judge should be forced to apply DUI laws as they are written whether he or she likes them or not. If they cannot do that, then let's remove them from the bench.

What planet are you living on? This has nothing to do with the article regarding DUI laws. Wake up!

Not that it is related to this subject, but you are quite wrong.
Unemployment numbers are the number of people who are actively seeking work. The data is collected in different ways. However, those collecting unemployment are largely the ones from where the data is collected (how many people are collecting unemployment?).
Sometimes a person seeking work becomes discouraged and stops seeking. When that happens, he/she is no longer considered in the unemployment numbers. He/she is considered a discouraged worker and is no longer entitled to unemployment benefits.
You really need to study up on this a bit.
