Full story: Vallejo Times-Herald

Amid a terminated agreement and threat of litigation, the head of Triad Communities said Thursday he hopes the city can roll out the welcome mat again for his firm's downtown development plans.

So are you going to hold all Council that voted for Triad accountable? I seem to remember that the unions all signed on to these developments, so are they also accountable? How about the voters that voted for the Council and Mayor? Are they also accountable? Let's spread the wealth of accountability to all people connected. This has nothing to do with anyone getting married, divorced, single status or other personal issues. So stick to the topic at hand.
I agree, no one get's a pass, but Pearsall is right in the center of it, you know that too.

The mayor/council needs to make peace with Triad and move forward. We don't need to go to court (and spend more money that I thought we don't have), we need to move forward w/development.

"...we need to move forward w/development. " Tell it to Triad, who has done absolutely nothing over the past five years while getting annual payments from the city and spending the city's money. And Lennar is just as bad. Toss both of these crooks, present them with a bill for all past "loans" and expenses, and dare them to go to court. Counter sue for a hundred million. Screw these a-s-s (holes). The gravy train is OVER.

Yet another group the city has reneged on. It's wonderful to see all of the blind (i)diots on this blog that are willing to overlook every (s)hitty act the city clownsel commits and follow the whole mess right down the toilet. What a (f)ucking joke.

Hey ethical please don't mention Ethics and Tony Pearsal in the same verbage. They don't go together. The wedding of the sluggos is this Saturday and everyone is invited to the Loma Vista swaray. I just don't get why people can give both of them a free pass and not hold them accountable. Closed eyes is bringing this city further into oblivion. the only press we get is the bad press. Hell even the coaches on our baseball teams get National attention. Changes need to be made NOW!
#1- Bulldoze 201 Maine
#2- State or Federal investigation of our council members.
#3- More citizen involvement
#4- Hold students more accountable at the schools
#5- New Police Chief
#6- New Finance Director(someone who can do fiqures
#7- Hold parents accountable for thier offspring
Don't forget the Vallejo city Attorneys who can actually work and answer questions. Vallejo spends more on outside attorneys, even with the $200,000 plus a year we pay Vallejo city attorneys.

<quoted text>i saw a bit in the news about the alameda city council voted to end their relationship with the master developer over there at the former military air field. the developer is going to sue of course, and they are smaller than lennar. lennar will hang us out to dry with the lawyers they have. we are stuck with them forever i guess.
Jim, we aren't stuck with them. EIRs or Environmental Impact Reports which were required to build homes fit for habitation were revealed selectively, most are not a matter of public record. This alone is a legally drawn agreement which is illegal. Now, they conclude it is safe but when the Navy's release was found to be in extreme error, a TDY crew of soil engineers were brought in to test the water and soil on and around Mare Island. What they found is that most of the island is no longer safe for humans to inhabit. Thyroid, brain and hormone levels of humans will be greatly affected should they live upon the island for a decade or more. The confidence from contracts and back-door negotiations between Lennar and our city is built upon illegal maneuvers. If we had a citizen action committee that was privy to free legal backing, they'd already be gone and businesses would be upon that soil, like green energy businesses. No more pollution, no more unethical businesses that displace people in other lands. Seriously, Jim, we are part of this problem, this broken economy, etc. We must start working for companies that care where their products come from, that no resources are stolen from indigenous folks and tribes, that those who work for them are respected and for those of us who invest in such companies, this also holds true. We invest or work for companies whose practices are inhumane. Human ethics is what is needed. Let it begin here in Vallejo. Let us become known for humane and ethical practices.
Ah, Jim, sorry to rant but thanks for listening.

Hi Rochelle,

I couldn't agree with you more and I have expressed this before, publicly: Lennar has got to go and so has their paid cheer leader Joanne Schivley.

YOU ARE NOT A CANDIDATE. You are a joke.

You have NOT tried to get votes other than ranting on Topix. No one in their right mind would ever endorse you--it would be politically suicide. Who wants to be associated with a criminal and domestic abuser.

"You have NOT tried to get votes other than ranting on Topix"

I have campaigned the same way as the other candidates have except for no mailers and no signs.

I have refused money and endorsements.

and that criminal domestic abuser crap is as old and decrepit as you are.

Without me you would have no one to communicate with, no friends, no family, no one. You should be thankful I acknowledge your existence by responding.

Other than begging for handouts how many homes have you visited to try to get votes. Was it 10,20 or 30 .

You are a pathetic excuse for a candidate. Maybe you and Wounded Knee can find something constructive to do like destroying signs.

The above alias has a typo in it.

It should read: Lack of knockers.
