Family sues school for negligence in Audrie Pott bullying and suicide
The parents of Audrie Pott , the 15-year-girl who committed suicide after being raped while she lay unconscious at a party in Saratoga, Calif., filed a lawsuit on April 16 against Saratoga High School, claiming negligence on the school's part for doing nothing regarding a bullying report the parents filed with school administrators.Full Story

I can't believe the thoughtless, cowardly, wrong-headed way Saratoga H.S. and the school district are handling the Audrie Pott suicide. Talk about a wretched hive of scum and villainy! Instead of covering their asses, they should be apologizing to the Pott family and COOPERATING! I cannot tell you the number of parents here in Sonoma (and one in S.F.) County who are genuinely horrified and incensed over the deceit and chicanery of these horrible administrators and their shyster lawyers.
This is April 18. I would imagine many of the guilty administrators will be publicly reprimanded and dismissed within the next 3 or 4 months. Or they will resign in shame and embarrassment. And deservedly so.
And frankly we can't wait for that day.

Very terrific incident with a little girl like her.

Instead of pointing fingers and blaming the school, Audrie's parents should be looking in the mirror and accepting the fact that they failed Audrie first.
By law, it is a parent's duty to protect and parent their children, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week the safety of their minor child is the parent's responsibility. Had Audrie's parents been properly supervising their underage daughter, she wouldn't be drinking herself into a coma at a party with no adult supervision. Had her parents been parenting her, she would never have been in the situation where she was sexually assaulted. Had her parents been parenting her she would not have become the target of bullying and she would not have killed herself. Her parents first failed her and her parents are ultimately responsible for her death.
If the boys are guilty, they should be charged for the sexual assault, but they are not responsible for the death of this girl.
Audrie's parents should be arrested and charged with child endangerment and held accountable in her death. None of this would have happened if her parents had been parenting their child.
Why didn't her parents care about her safety when she was at a party engaging in illegal activity and underage drinking? Now, they want to blame the boys, the school...everybody but themselves, the ones who were ultimately responsible for Audrie's safety.

You are one sick delusional person to say that Audrie's parents should be arrested and charged with child endangerment. Do you have kids? Are they teenagers? Do you ever go to sleep? Because wake the F up kids have been sneaking out and drinking and messing around with the opposite sex (or the same) since the beginning of time. And if you think this family deserves any more punishment you are one sick cooking. No parent is perfect, every single parent on this earth makes mistakes, usually on a daily basis but most of us are doing the best we can and no one deserves to end up with their child raped or dead if they make a mistake. And she was 15 not 15 months old you don't follow her around the house and make sure she 23305005270141 put stuff in her mouth and put her to bed at six. Grow a heart.
