Elmwood needs a decent Medical staff. My daughter was in there and she needed medical attention, and was ignored by the staff. It was a weekend so there was no one available to her. I don't know if is a staffing problem or a lack of good assessment skills. Probably both

Just because people are incarcerated doesn't mean they don't need medical treatment. EVERYONE has made there share of mistakes. They Still deserve medical treatment.

i was there for a short time, i was treated with much degrading and violent attitude. i sued the two officers who assaulted me but the biased judge dismissed the case in small claims court of los gatos.

Why on earth would people use their real names on these forums? Suggestion: When it asks for your name, use a user name or pseudo for your own safety and privacy.

Now for the cruel part:
I recently found out that my ex-husband has taken up a new hobby...molesting minors. What I don't get is that he was incarcerated April 2nd but after being convicted on September 9th, only having served approximately 5.5 months. Where's the justice in that for his victim?

Too bad he wasn't the one that croaked! People like him don't deserve to live, seriously.

Clarifying: He was also released on September 9th.

I dont think that was proper behavior. All the officers care about is themselfs and not the inmates. But hey! inmates have feelings too you know. So treat them with respect just like you(Officers) want to be treated.

It's sad how you guys comment on here so much yet can't spell for sh1t! Please learn to spell and get your sentence structure up to par. It makes everyone seem so ignorant when misspelled words are a part of your everyday life.
There is someone in ELMWOOD BARRACKS that needs to die. They are in there for Human Sex Trafficking. That is slavery. They are repeat offenders. Everyone should be punished and treated without respect if they are PIMPS and in the business of human sex trafficking, aka forced prostitution.

My soon to be ex husband is in there now. I dont want him dead or anything, I am a little concerned at this point reading all these comments. I dont know, he has been in and out every other two or three weeks for the last six months or so, can never stay out so it cant be that bad a place. What I dont get is why he only gets two week sentences even though he is constantly there. they need to lock his ass down and take the booz away then something can get done. with him and with MOST people in there right now. I say most since I know there are the general exceptions, but more than not just need a cleaning of their bodies and a little bit of God. Thats what did it for me, I been clean four years now. Any way all this to say, does any one know how I can get a hold of his court sentencing. I want to know what he is in for this time. I called they wont tell me. But it seems if I pay a pretty penny I can find out any ways, so before I do that is there another way? and about the police caring only for themselves. thats a bit of an ironic statement and I say that because its not exactly a self seeking career, you would have to become a cop to want to help keep life civilized. I say this as an ex druggie, and a born again christian. All the people who bash cops would pick their phones up in a minute with gratitude to call one to come save the life of your child or to stop your wife from being raped in front of you. No one likes them when they are busting them for doing dumb stuff, but everyone loves them when they need a hero.

So were are the medical doctor and this what my taxes are paying for lack of comunication and medical doctors. Do they wait till someone sues them to react to do something......

I was called when my husband was being arrested for drugs...He is an addict wanting help, but many of the programs are full--the officer who arrested him assured me that his medical condition would be on the report, and that he would be assessed.Nope. 8 days later, with none of his prescription medications, and no help with withdrawls he called me from Elmwood asking me to call an ambulance. I called the medical line, and they began to help him...but he's so weak because of his long list of medical conditions he needs more help. Who do I call? Now they want him to start RCP program--they do not even consider he can barely get out of bed!
