Reed's Sport Shop closing after 60 years in San Jose

Bicycles were well stocked just a few weeks ago, but most have sold out due to the cut rate prices.

I never shopped there but it's always disheartening to hear of a locally-owned and operated family store closing. The good news for this one is that, at least, it wasn't due to lack of business caused by the larger, chain stores that usually seems to be the case.
