Another TOTALLY UNNECESSARY tragedy, due to a TOTALLY SELFISH DIRTBAG!!

Now, a man is DEAD whilst a STOOPID female is quite likely being treated at taxpayer's expense!!

I'm sure your kids and grandkids and parents are REAL proud of you now, you IDIOT!!

Pretty disgusting when a female THAT old is driving DRUNK!! Obviously she is NOT a productive, contributing member of society, drinking THAT early in the day and then evading police!

Now, she can carry the title of "MURDERESS" for the rest of her life!!

My sympathies to this gentleman's family and friends. Now, they will have to deal with the horrific grief and aftermath of this sad and TOTALLY AVOIDABLE event.

It was a very sad event. I was at that spot on 138 few minutes after the accident took place. The cars were totally demolished. I am very sad to learn that an innocent man was killed. My prayer is with the victim's family. Please, people. Don't Drink and Drive.

Too bad that ALL those charges were dismissed! Maybe we'd have one less MURDER today!

I hate to say it, but why does any police agency authorize a chase? Use a plane or chopper, but why put out lives at risk? Indirectly, I feel that the police contributed to this accident.

Car chases, since OJ, are now seen as entertainment, like the movie "The Running Game". That's too bad.

you want to know why?????? Because if we didn't at least TRY to stop these people, things would be even worse. Maybe we should just get rid of police agencies altogether. Can you imagine what criminals would do if they knew all they had to do was fail to yield?? As soon as they got lit up, they would speed away and the cops would have to back down. I know this sucks, but please donít blame the police in this matter. Even with the use of aircraft, there still has to be contact made by ground forces to take a subject into custody.

It wasn't the chase that caused the accident, it was the fact that she was drunk and crossing over the divider into the other lane. In case you didn't notice she was already doing that before the police tried to pull her over. That's why they tried to pull her over to start with. What did you think they should do when they see a driver drunkenly crossing the divider into oncoming traffic? Just say "oh, there's another drunk driver" and ignore it. It was the driver not pulling over that let the accident happen, not them trying to pull her over. The cops did right. She did wrong.

A plane or chopper can't stop her. It can only watch her crash into someone head on from the air. If the cops weren't allowed to chase someone who speeds away from them, then all criminals would speed away at high speed. That in itself would cause even more accidents.

Too bad they didn't take their time getting her out of the car. Should have waited. Maybe we would have been spared the cost of incarcerating her.

From 2003-2008 this same woman has had multiple DUIs, drug charges, driving on suspended license.
Why in the world do the judges keep dismissing her charges? If it was to allow her another opportunity to kill an innocent human - well done!
No second chances - hopefully God will take care of what our legal system refused to do so.
