Gang shooting Friday at Santa Ana's Original Mike's

I think it might be time to cut & run from Santa Ana. Too much blood and treasure has been wasted while Pulido & Company hold closed session pay raise talks for the City Clerk this coming Monday behind closed doors at the Police HQ. In what is turning out to be another bloody week here in Santa Ana, there was a double shooting late Friday evening at Santa Ana's own Original Mike's Bar & Restaurant. It is always tragic when people of any kind are shot in my city. My advice to you and your friends is to stay away from Original Mike's. It just isn't worth gambling with your life.

i am gonna say yes this is involved., they are playing a part in all the fights and picking random people out of the bunch. i was there 2 yrs ago for a bday party and they did the same thing minus the shooting. but im sure they beat people up and maced the crap outta them and then either let them go w/ no tickets no nothing from the police dept. so they were beaten for nothing!
now i have been reading up on this for a few years and seeing where all this comes from! it starts with SECURITY. please reply back. where you at that shooting or your friends?

we were there just last weekend for a friends bday, there was some brief words from the secruity and then some back, the next thing i know sercurity has a chock hold on my friend, he couldnt breath at all, friends came to help him security then they turned on them, we made our way to the door then out to the patio where they hit him with a metal baton on the back of his head then on his mouth from behind. we tried to help and they pepered sprayed us then hit another one of us in the head with the baton.his wife picked him up and started for the gate they didnt make it,the security then tackeled them from behind,he lie in a pool of blood, his wife thrown to the ground and her purse yanked away then hand cuffed and sprayed.. sapd showed up and treated them just about the same. they asked the couple for i.d when the sapd brought the wifes purse to her, her wallet was missing, the only people who had it was security and sapd.did anybody witness this?? need to make a stand.....

.. no matter where you go. santa ana or not, bad things can happen, just be safe, don't drink and drive and don't fight for no reason, which alot of drunk people do, and then don't remember why.
i was there the night of the shooting..it was outside of mikes in the street and a truck pulled up waiting for some other guys to show up, and because those guys couldn't release their anger in a healthy way they shot at them maybe they were roomates and drank the other ones beer..who know, who cares. their still alive. security was involved because they ran over to help and call the police. duh.
now why would you stop going to mikes. it was not toward everyone. would you stop going to disneyland or the beach if someone got shot there?..probably not. because it's rare, and if your supposed to die that day then o well. You'll probably like heaven better anyway.

In 1986, I came across a "Field Manual" that was issued by the Orange County Sherriffs Dept. to its deputies. It has a publishing date of 1981. In it Varrio Midway City is listed as one of the counties oldest gangs along with West 13, Stantone, La Colonia, Delhi, Santa Nita, Logan Park, Tokers Town, La Jolla and West Side La Habra.

Also, MPB was a blood gang that was pressured to join a traditional chicano gang. Some joined Varrio Midway City, some joined West 13 and some grew up and stopped being gang members.

I only know this because I grew up in Midway City. I am not a gang member and I have never been a gang member.

FXTROOP is from the 60's. Lopers is from the 70's. That ain't that old. There are a few varrios in oc from the 50's and before. Logan, Delhi, Santa Nita are from the 40's.
